When crossing the bridge felt... Different.

I need to explain to anyone who is confused about the comments about the bridge and how it felt different and whatever. There is a video by a guy called Martincitopants who made a video on the game "My Summer Car." The game focuses on building up a car to win a race as the main goal but the game is not that nice when it comes to giving you money and when Martin got word from a drunk guy that they had a box of about 5 million dollars of the cash used in the game Martin chose to look for it. Martin actually ended up finding it and taking it. This led to Martin winning the race but on his way around the map he notices something weird about the bridge he was going over. Upon further inspection a rope could be seen on the bridge and it was tied to a support beam. Under the bridge and over the river was the body of a drunk dead man that hung himself because he lost all of his money from one man: Martin. This was the music playing in the clip and the episode was called "Getting Killed EVEN MORE in My Summer Car". It happens right at the end of the video so if you want to watch then go ahead and look it up the video.

I always imagine this song represents the slight regret and worry that all 4 heisters have before their next heist. But at 2:03 their thirst for money and infamy takes over them and they try to forget about any worries. Just my thoughts.

When crossing that bridge… I swear, I had this feeling. I couldn’t place it, it was just too… overbearing on my system. I went home, alone, driving through these streets of gloom and fog, surrounded by the towering shadows of the trees in the golden light of the falling sun. The road was… quiet. „I must shake it off, eventually.“ I thought. Had I taken my medicine for my anxiety this morning? Oh, no bother anymore. It’s too late anyways. Nonetheless, I persist in my drive to what can barely be called a proper home, passing bridge after bridge. None of the others could emulate the guttural… dread that one had felt, the one only felt over that damned bridge. I enter my humble shack, take a piss in my rarely-functional home sauna, watch the news. Nothing eventful today. Just the same dreary and macabre fog of depressing ideas cast down by the people of this horrid town. The sun has been completely blocked by the fog, rolling in like a cat inching closer to the mouse it has been hunting, silently and slowly. That damned feeling. I lay awake in my mattress, unable to sleep. It’s completely black outside, much like the inky blindness you get when someone turns off the power. I can’t pay up, because I can’t see the check I must write to your forsaken power company. Whatever, I think, I’m getting no sleep thinking of the rats that run the lights in the city with the degraded carcass of these magnificent creatures that once roamed this earth. It’s at least two in the morning. Not a drop of sleep. The unwavering feeling, this dread that one only feels when they’re pulled aside by their employer, simply would not budge. The persistence of this wailing silence in my soul won’t go away. Damn it! Why do I have to be like this. I get up, drowsy and slowly, and slump, step by step, to the shitty car that I made. The orange reflects the light from the garage, burning my eyes. Why must it be this way? And so I drive. The headlights barely penetrate the fog and rain, much like how one sees only so far in the depths of murky water. I drive back, down these forsaken curves of concrete and such, across bridges half collapsed, to the one where my assurances wouldn’t rest one bit. „See? Theres nothing here you fat bastard.“, I mumble to myself as I walk the sides of the bridge. The perilous feeling still will not waver, much how a political figure wouldn’t if it meant the ‚other side‘ would win. Then a glimpse of light, one differing from the tone of grey and metal supporting this bridge. One of brown, and cylindrical shape is wrapped around one of the half-broken rails. I go down. *Then I see it. Swinging in the wind, lifeless. I see it all. Never to be undone, hanging there for all to see, including me.*

It really makes you feel like a criminal. Payday is one of my favorite games.
