"LISTEN UP, THIS IS A ROBBERY. WE WANT TO HARM NO ONE. THINK ABOUT YOUR LOVED ONES. DONT TRY TO BE A HERO. SHUT UP AND STAY DOWN. AND THIS WILL BE OVER IN NO TIME." - Dallas
When I first heard this, I was so immeresed into the game like I was in the Heat movie myself. The soundtrack is brilliant for the game itself and the tempo.
This song has been buried in my mind, why? Because i just wasted 2 hours trying to get the overdrill achivement, only for the password guy to mess up the password.
Terencebriones It was, and still is, 30 minutes to open the door. What I meant was that I wasted 2 hours of dying and yelling at my teamates before i gave up.
Terencebriones It wasn't ammo that was the problem, but my teammates were just a bunch of morons who wouldn't know how to rob a bank if they were given a step-by-step guide.
"Okay we got the vault to the left, and the server room upstairs to the right." "I'm in the cafeteria not many people here." "That's the manager alright." ---Masks on----
I personally loved this game a little more than Payday 2. The characters interacted/talked more and it was just all around a better feel. I wish they would've just kept updating this game rather than Payday 2, or made it so that in Payday 2 it was a lot like this one
I agree with you, Clayton! While I do like alot of the features in Payday 2 that the first game didn't have, the first game clearly had a much better and immersive feeling. It's been rumored that they are working on a third game, with unknown release. If they do release it I really hope they blend the best parts of the 1 and 2!
"Listen up! This is a robbery. We wanna harm no-one. We're after the bank's money, not yours. Your money's insured by the federal government. You're not gonna lose a dime. Think of your loved ones. Don't try and be a hero. Just shut up and stay down, and this will be over in no-time"
John Wick's Badass "DOZER!!!!" Now go into the forum and cry like a little b#tch u are! OH SHIT BULL-DO-ZERRRR!!!! *Host without preplanning* Salt-Bathed Shit Host who kick me because can't help him "over bullet hell" FBI units emerged from hell/Respawn
Immediately reminded me of the bank robbery scene at Heat. If you don't know what I'm talking about, go watch that movie. Best bank robbery scene in the history.
Curtis stollery I wanted Neil to get away from the detective in the end, and when it did end I had mixed feelings, but it was a really good movie overall.
0:00 "Just walk Straight into the Bank" 0:35 "Wear your Masks!" 1:05 "Set up the damn drill" 1:35 "Pour the thermite" 1:41 "Bag the money guys!" 2:12 "Blow the explosives and get to the exit (Dallas: OH SHIT TASTER)" 3:14 Bain: Nice work out there guys, I have a few more places for you to hit so be ready.
+Lucas Nunes get it? because i got microtransactions up my fart! xddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
Because remixes of them that simon did are really overdone and exaggerated. Original is just as it should be, on top of that it's direct homage and almost a copy of Heat movie from from 1995 which is sole big inspiration for Payday as a whole. This track is almost the same as one that plays during climax heist also on the bank hell even speech that AI will give after you take down all guards and pefore police arive is taken from it. If you like original music more you can also set it on Payday 2, you just need to buy soundtrack of Payday TH on steam and download it, then it will show up in Payday 2 in music options
@@ThedeadMapleoak techno is a different musical genre and this original track is actually *far more* "techno" than EDM-esque stuff that Simon Viklund produced in later years, including the remix.
"Listen up! This is a robbery. We want to harm no one. We're after the bank's money not yours. Your money is insured by the federal government. You're not gonna loose a dime. Think of your loved ones, don't try to be a hero. Just shut and stay down. And this will be over in no time!"
I think he means in the heist when one of them will say something along the lines of "We're on the clock people, 1 minute!" which is what Hoxton says when you start the heist up
there is actually another reference to Heat in FWB, where one of the AI characters (if there is any) will stand up on a table and yell: "We want to hurt no one! We're here for the bank's money, not your money. Your money is insured by the federal government, you're not gonna lose a dime! Think of your families, don't risk your life. Don't try and be a hero!" This is a reference.
I think they considered that (i remember almir or someone else saying it on a reddit AMA), also we have the diamond being a remastered diamond heist pretty much so that's something.
Alright guys listen up, Good news and bads news, We got a go from our insider, he hid the thermite and drill in the server room but he bailed, The banks managers got the keycard in there, lets get in on
Am i the only one who gets really effing twitchy when i listen to any of the payday the heist or payday 2 soundtracks? It's not that my body moves to the beat, it's just that i've been conditioned to spastic reaction-time movements from the gameplay, and i find that the beat of the song perfectly fits the tempo of it!
when you hear them call out times, it's either in reference to how long it will take to accomplish a task ( think drilling through the security gate in the bank.) or how long the E.T.A. (Estimated Time of Arrival) of some serious bad $#!t hits them ( I.e. :"Ya got One minute to finish up of this is going to SUCK !" ) They are professionals who have everything planned down to the half minute and in such will let you know "Hey this is the plan, stick to it..."
This song makes me legitimately feel like robbing a bank. ._. Or doing something typically badass that I could never dream of doing outside of video games. \o/
I had to listen to this for two fucking hours, while a drill slowly opened a door to a room full of gold and intricate masks. And it was fucking awesome.
