Payitaht Abdulhamid takes us back in time to the fight for the existence of the Ottoman Empire. The story depicts the life of Sultan Abdulhamid Han who ascended the throne in 1876 and remained on the post for 33 years. It also follows the events that took place in the Ottoman State and around the world during the time of the “Almighty Sultan”.

Ainee Asjad you could try to learn Turkish so you can watch the whole thing in subbed. Turkish is one of the more easier languages to learn. But learning a new language is no easy feat

I'm loving this series, it's awesome, but why at @13:39 is there a picture of the Russian Tsar Nicholas the 2nd on the wall of the German embassy??? It should be Wilhelm in his big eagle hat :) Bizmark is there though :) although the german ambassador referred to him as their former monarch, which he wasn't. He was the iron chancellor.

Correction, Bismarck wasn't a monarch. He was Germany's Chancellor. The Head of Government who serves the Head of State (Monarch), who at the time of Bismarck, was Kaiser Wilhelm I. Wilhelm II's grandfather.
