Great updates. Do you intend on making a fully encompassing updated tutorial series? I'd love to get started with PCG again, and updated tutorials would be massively helpful. Tldr: My monkey brain finds it difficult to follow tutorials when what I see doesn't look like what is shown in the tutorial, which happens when they're fairly out of date. 😂
I will be making new tutorials - I plan to make another quick start and then specific videos covering the new features. However, it will be difficult to recreate the entire tutorial series. The good news is that the workflow is largely the same and have added new options, while the old options are still there. So you should be fine following the older tutorials without an issue :)
wow. worth the wait. i have npc manager too, so wondered if i could have npcs live in their own addresses at runtime please? i have been using room manager system(AI). but to do this for an entire city would take ages. thanks. great work.
Hey there - its possible to have NPC POIs spawn within buildings in PCG. Its rudimentary but it works. My goal is to work on NPCM so it can be used as a full pedestrian system for the city. This is planned for a future update however. Check out this video where I showcase what you can do now - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-t45VCyhv8ho.html
@@CoquiGames thanks. i have used this method for the mass population. i wanted each person or family to be allocated an address. kind of a cross between gta and fallout 4. except all npcs have a permanent address. not a big issue though. pedestrian system would be a welcomed addition. the new vehicles are a great addition. have been using advanced vehicle system and their traffic control system. but having it in pcg has made things a lot easier. this new pcg is amazing. really excellent work mate.
@@CoquiGames Awesome!!! Got the park asset today. I think I'm only missing your taming asset and I pretty much have bought all your items. Looking forward to playing with these.
Hey there! I'm still planning to make 2 more videos - Debugging and Optimization. However, you can get started now as the available lessons are complete.
