Flash-dip the 1833 classic head, it will remove enuff of the darker tone so you can get it graded right.

I see that ED also stands for Environmental Damage. Surprised that they didn't give the 84O Morgan that designation. I would have given you at least 2 more PL designations.

That first Indian looked perfectly fine to me! Can't believe both placed axed it.

Love the Morgan's! Some interesting non-PL's there. Thought one of them even a DMPL. The 21 is a bummer. It definitely looks original tone. I have a similar predicament. I inherited a 96 S (sleeper key in high grade) that I am positive would get AU and most likely slide into UNC. It has the most beautiful reverse toning I've seen in person on a Morgan. The problem is the obverse, has some un-toned areas. My concern is that if I send it in they would give it QT. I know for a fact it was never AT as it was my grandmothers for years since the 30's and sat in an old jewelry box. Anyhow, sweet Morgan's, and 22 no D. Thanks for sharing!

Does not make sense about that 21 Morgan . I have a 25 Peace Dollar same type of toning ,Ms 63 PCGS slab.

Many many people are loosing or have lost faith in PCGS. The tide is turning to NGC. Sorry for those bad/inconsistent grades. Great coins though!

Looks like they hate putting 65 on anything and if the one Morgan was conserved it probably wouldve gotten a grade higher AND your PL

The only "Questionable" Thing about that 1921 is PCGS claiming AT. I hope when my coins get back from PCGS i am not too shocked. Great video as always, Thanks again!

I have the same problem with NGC. I have coins graded and they always come a grade or two lower then expected. Makes you wonder?? I can put a 65 next to my 64 or 63 and the 65 looks like a 63. I wonder who you need to know to get the right grade on your coin. They don't want you to make money, or lower the cost of other coins. They have done me good in the past and boy was I very happy and surprised. Love your channel, glad I found it. Keep up the great work.

@BenTheCoinGeek It's the PCGS New Policy. Guilty till proven innocent with lusterous. I asked the NGC Instagram Press team and they explained it as PCGS basically is saying old coins shouldn`t have that type of luster

I don't think those Indian head pennies are of questionable color. They look like regular color nice red. I'm not a fan of grading companies.

PCGS, seems to me, is sending these questionable color grades out to bolster collections for others. PCGS is going down the tubes, over grading, under grading and the cost associated. They may be doing that in hopes of you sending it back to get more money from you. They me. NGC and ANACS is where the grading is at. Just my 2 cents.

I think you are spending way too much for PCGS and the crappy grades they are giving you

Pcgs needs to be boycotted bigtime....I started about 8 months ago......I don't know what is going on with them but my last 50 submissions have been undergraded by 2 or more grades. I'm just spreading the word.

Your 84 O would never get a PL its toned badly your first morgan isn't reflective enough on the obverse to get PL designation
