Nexperia's Katrin Feurle spoke with Mark Britton at PCIM this year, and introduced their latest SiC MOSFETs. Silicon carbide enhances energy efficiency which is crucial for modern applications. Nexperia demonstrated a dual-purpose board with a buck-boost converter and double-pulse testing, making it easier for the customer to design the product. Additionally, the high RDS(on) temperature stability up to 175°C (which is unique to Nexperia) is highly valued. Key applications include EV charging, energy storage, solar inverters, and future automotive uses.
