That difference was huge. I took both exams. If you did not take any in depth environmental engineering courses, then do not bother.

Hey thank you for the video. I intend to take the civil Pe exam with the water resources and environmental depth portion. Im off of work the next month or so to study for this exam but not sure where to begin. Perhaps there could be a video on how to start studying, as in what resources to begin with and how to best spend your time each day studying. Thanks!

What states do uphold the disciplines on which you take the exam in?
@PassthePEExam
@PassthePEExam 2 года назад
Rodney I can't say 100%, but from my experience few states require that you take the exam in your discipline, however the PE ethics code requires you to practice and seal documents within your areas of expertise regardless of what exam you took.

Hi, Im a Sanitary Engineer in the Philippines, what is the equivalent of Sanitary Engineer in the US? and what should I take for the PE exam?
@PassthePEExam
@PassthePEExam Год назад
In the US, the equivalent of a Sanitary Engineer would be an Environmental Engineer. Environmental Engineers are responsible for designing and implementing solutions to a variety of environmental problems, including water and air pollution control, hazardous waste management, and environmental sustainability. To take the Professional Engineering (PE) exam in Environmental Engineering in the US, you will need to have a bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or a related field from an accredited institution. You will also need to have a minimum of four years of relevant work experience.

Hi, I am Environmental Engineer and I would like to know how can I work in EUA? is it possible? What I have to do?
@PassthePEExam
@PassthePEExam Год назад
As an Environmental Engineer, working in the United States (USA) is indeed possible. Here are some steps you can take to pursue a career in the USA: **Educational Evaluation: If you obtained your degree outside of the USA, you may need to have your educational credentials evaluated by an accredited agency to ensure they are equivalent to US standards. Organizations like the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) can assist you with this process. **Research Visa Requirements: To work in the USA, you'll need to obtain the appropriate visa. The most common visa for skilled workers is the H-1B visa. However, obtaining an H-1B visa can be a complex process, as it requires sponsorship from a US employer. It's advisable to consult with an immigration attorney or specialist to understand the specific requirements and procedures. **Licensing and Certification: Environmental engineering is a regulated profession in the USA. Depending on the state you wish to work in, you may need to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Requirements for licensure vary by state but generally involve passing the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam, gaining relevant work experience, and passing the Professional Engineering (PE) exam. Research the licensing requirements of the state where you plan to work and ensure you meet the necessary criteria. Remember that the process of working in the USA as an international professional can be challenging, so it's important to plan ahead, stay informed, and seek guidance from the appropriate legal and professional resources to navigate the process successfully.
