I made this for Christmas it came out PERFECT!!! It was a hit I made three cans and there was NOTHING LEFT. I have a request to make two more thanks for the recipe 👍🏽😋😍

I use the cake mix as well, but I mix up my cake mix first like I'm making a cake, and I also put brown sugar, and sugar in my peaches plus the other stuff... Very easy, and quick
No need for vanilla. My version calls for butter nut cake mix so the nutmeg & cinnamon aren’t needed.The cake mix and heavy syrup from the peaches make it plenty sweet. A scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream is really good when served warm. Super fast and smells delicious.

My MaMa used to make us homemade peach cobbler from scratch, but this recipe will do, I've made it before with strawberry filling and apple it's delicious.
I have used this same recipe several time in my crockpot on high for 3 hours. Just dump everything in. Set it and forget it. 3 hours later. Yummy peach cobbler
Spice cake mix is great for many dump cakes. I do a pumpkin dump cake with spice cake mix and pecans every Thanksgiving and there is never enough for seconds for everyone loves it.
I used to make this, too! The only difference was instead of canned peaches, I would use 2 cans of canned peach 🍑 (or 🍒 cherry or 🍎 apple) pie filing. it already has the spices in it and the cans are a bit bigger. Boy, is it DELICIOUS 😋!!! Now, I'm hungry for some -- in any flavor -- although, I must say that 🍑 peach is my favorite!
My family calls this Dumb Bunny Cake because “any dumb bunny can make it.” I used to always have this for my birthday or any time I just had a craving. I would drizzle some of the peach syrup on the top and it would bake into a hard candy. Yummy!
I made this many times but called it peach cobbler with just a few changes and it was one of the best desserts ever! I served it warm w/vanilla ice cream and some of the peach sauce over top b/4 ice crem & uou've got an absolutely delish dessert to serve over and over To your family &friends!!!
It's also SUPER delicious to add a packet or two of cinnamon instant oatmeal on top of the cake mix (before the butter). It makes it more like a true crumble...😋

I've made this before but literally just dumped everything in the pan as the name says, didn't stir anything and it still came out just fine. Didn't cut the butter up either. The girls at told e how to make this said just "dump" the peaches, cake mix and a stick of butter together and put it in the oven. I was like, yeah right. I'm gonna ruin it but nope. It amazingly came out like I spent all day in the kitchen. So, so so easy. And tasty. Yum yum.
I’ve never tried peach but I’ve made apple dumb cake and it was like you said - just dump everything in. I did sprinkle the cinnamon over the top instead of pouring on one area but I didn’t go through as many steps as she did.

Also, the video baker put much more love in it than I've ever seen. Dump-Cake is made for mamis with a baby on one hip and a whiny toddler pulling at her apron. JUST *DUMP* EVERYTHING IN! I’ve made similar to this for decades, but noticed lately that it was different than my older versions. Realized it was because the “heavy syrup” of old in the can wasn’t as thick. I’ll have to drain the second can like you do. I don’t use cake mix but a flour mixture. Great recipe!

We've been doing it just about as long, never called it dump cake though. We usually just toss 1 quart of home bottled peaches in the Dutch oven with a box of yellow cake mix and a can of 7up 👌

You actually dont wanna pat it all down flat because the peaks and valleys is what gives u nice crunch and texture. You could put half and pay down then add rest without pating down!
