I just made this cobbler! It came out amazing!! The only modifications I made was I used 1/2 cup white sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar in the batter, a half stick of butter and I drained half the syrup from the peaches. I also added 1tbsp of baking powder to the flour because I didn’t have self rising flour. So good! Tfs.
I made similar changes. No self-rising flour either. It's 1/4 tsp. Salt and 1 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder to 1 C Flour to make your own. I bet it was delicious!!
This is ridiculously DELICIOUS! I made one Sunday night, it's now Wednesday and I'm making another one for family dinner. So easy and so good! (I did 1/2 white sugar and half brown sugar) Thank you for sharing and great directions.
I made this yesterday and it went well. I didn’t have self raising flour so I used regular flour and included two tsp of baking powder. I also added about a tablespoon of fresh lemon juice and two tablespoons of sugar into the filling mixture. 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
I’ve made this SEVERAL times and every time everyone compliments it like crazy. It’s a hit! It seems like you’ve been baking all day but in reality it’s only about an hour to an hour and half😅

I made this recipe and it is delish! The only modifications I did was I add fresh squeezed lemon juice in the filling and some baking powder to the batter because I was scared it wouldn’t rise 😀. So fabulous. Your instructions are perfect. New subscriber for sure!

Finally a peach cobbler almost similar to my mother and grandmother, just a little simpler since we were taught to male a bottom and top crust and drop cut pieces of dough inside the peach mixture for added dumplings.
Made this for Christmas and it was different than i was used to. The crust is way more soft and i had to cook longer than 50 min to get it to brown more. It was giving undone. Plus I like a crunchy crust. For a quick little peach cobbler it was pretty good.

Ladies. I know y'all are aware of this delicious easy breezy recipe. Been making it 4 years. I don't add any batter on the top though. I just let mine rise up and it covers the peaches. Good job luv
You can pour the batter over the peaches and butter. It will sink to the bottom, but will rise to the top while it cooks.You can also use buttermilk instead of regular milk in the recipe. It gives it a good flavor too.
I just made this today and it is sooooo good 😭😭😭 I’ve tried other easy recipes and honestly they are no good because they used cake mix. My parents have a peach tree in their back yard and I’m gonna be making your peach cobbler just about everyday. 🥰
Hi, Love this cobbler! It is December 24, and I just finished making this with my two 12 year old granddaughters (1st cousins) Their fist cobbler, it came out great! We used canned spiced peaches and left out the spices except for the cinnamon and sugar topping. But we kept everything else the same. Christmas Blessings to you and yours.

Made it last night....SO SO GOOD!! The only things I did differently which you recommended as well was half white & half brown sugar.. I also removed some of the peach juice liquid. This recipe is IT!!!!

So I just finished making my second peach cobbler, the first was ruined because I used ap flour & not self rising flour. The filling taste gr8 but the crust was wack. Made it over using most of the same ingredients only this time I added baking powder to my cup of ap flour. Thank u for the recipe

Just tried this with some fresh peaches I had left over from making preserves and it’s delicious, I didn’t feel like rolling dough like I normally do, this was much simpler for crust and the top is crunchy because of sprinkling of the cinnamon sugar.

Made this, or should I say I tried to make it. I noticed your can was a 29 oz can of peaches. I had 2 15 oz cans. That extra liquid must have been really too much. Would not cook at 350 for 50 minutes. I raised the temperature to 400 and had to stir the dough that was just sticking on the bottom of the dish and cooked again for 40 minutes. Thank goodness it worked out good 👍
That was my problem as well. The extra liquid made mines really mushy. Made it again the second time and didn't use the liquid from the second can but only the peaches. Came out amazing!!!

@@journeyofmaida Instead of self rising flour use all purpose and add Simply add 1tspn of baking powder to to your flour.. . it's enough to make it rise yet stay closer in consistency to a pie crust .. Hope this helps
