I've only saw cichla pleiozona for sale 1 time...ever!!! But they grow to about 10 Inches max. The more common ones are cichla intermedia and cichla kelberi which males should max at 24" though 18" is more common in the hobby
Water changes get very wet and messy which is a dangerous place for my camera to be...but once I get a bit more organized with my water changes I'll show you guys
Bad a$$ video. I have some of the same (azul peacock bass, oscar, flagtail and others) but mine live in a tiny apartment/125 gallon. While your fish live in the playboy mansion/880 gallon.
Ive never understood why people like big ugly fish like this, i mean would you not rather something more colourful? not trying to have a go just hoping someone can explain it to me
It just comes down to personal preference. For me its an "Awe" factor, the size of these fish is just amazing! Also the personality of such big fish is very much like that of dogs

Dont get me wrong theyre definitely cool and the speckled peacock bass even looks quite nice but if it was me spending all that money on a huge tank id have some rainbowfish or a big school of tetras and some small cichlids or something. But each to their own and also your cameramanship (im not sure if thats even a word) is really good, it makes me imagine Sir David Attenborough narrating this video.
