Peak Design Everyday Sling 10L Review - Large Capacity Camera Sling
The Peak Design Everyday Sling 10L is a very sizable and accommodating camera bag. We have tested several camera slings (and more reviews coming soon!) and this one has been the biggest one yet. Although it looks large, it carries very well.
I was actually able to get most of my camera gear from my 25L backpack, into this 10L sling. That made me very happy :)
Gear I carried in this sling:
Sony A7IV - amzn.to/3QyWACB
Tamron 17-28mm - amzn.to/3STaLE5
Tamron 28-200mm - amzn.to/3dFUH8w
DJI Wireless Mic - amzn.to/3c1Wd4f
GoPro Max - amzn.to/3Cf7Dwh
Insta360 One X2 - amzn.to/3PwGzvC
extra batteries and chargers

You missed the dedicated Capture Clip mount points on either side of the bag. They are much more stable than simple using the strap.

Good call on that. Thanks for that tip.

You're not a small guy and still that 10L looks huge! I might opt for the 6L but having the ability to carry your laptop around is nice!

How have you liked carrying this bag around for a full day? I'm going to spend 2 weeks in Italy and I want to use this as my day bag while out exploring. I tried the 6l bag, but I felt like there wasn't enough room to fit my Sony A7iv with Sigma 24-70 attached, a Sony/Zeiss 16-35, Osmo Pocket 3, and Rode Video Mic+ mic. This doesn't include extra gear like ND filters batteries or other gear.

Will a Canon R8/Rp with the 100-400 attached fit upright?

That bag looks more like 18L based on overall size.

It sure feels like that capacity!

Thanks. Can you secure it so it stays in place during technical hiking/climbing? Also, would it fit a mirrorless body (Lumix G9/S5--slightly larger than sony E-Mount) with a battery grip and lens mounted plus additional lenses (five, but they're MFT, so even largest, a Leica 200-800 EFL, is

Hey fellow camera friend! Great question. I am not sure if that would fit. Especially for technical climbing. There are other packs we have tested that I would recommend for that kind of activity.

@@Engearment Thanks! I went to a shop this morning and tested a number of packs. None of the slings were large enough for my needs, so I went with a PD everyday backpack 15L. I'm not sure if the 20L would've been a better choice, but even the 15's a bit large. The key design feature is the four zipper pulls, which allow you to use it like a sling.

Good to know. I tried and it did not fit (with the camera gear in it as well)

Would you say a 14 inch laptop would have issues fitting in there?

I don’t think that would fit.

Would you say it's possible to fit at Sony a7 III + Tamron 28-75 mm lense, MacBook Air 13" and Sony 70-200 mm lense in the sling 10L?
@Engearment

Good question. I have most of those in this case, minus the 70200mm ad laptop. I will see if I can replicate that set up this week and get back to you!

@@gustavnrgaard1721 No prob! I just tried and it is going to be a very tight fit with the camera, computer and three lenses. I was able to get an iPad in there and get it to close. My 14" MacBook Pro was too much. Hope that helps!

@@Engearment thank you! It sure helps, maybe I’m not looking at the purpose right. Maybe it’s not a bag that should fit it all - just the things you need when you’re on a job or event 🤔😁

All in the sling, maybe not but don't forget you can use a capture clip to make a bit more room by letting your camera ride outside so you can fit your telephoto lens in the bag.

The peak design website states that it fits a 14 inch MacBook Pro, are you saying that it does not fit?
@Engearment
@Engearment Год назад
It did not fit my 14" with case and the way I had all the gear packed. Could be user error on my part?
