oh it's a killer alright,i walked up via blea tarn & then up to that little tarn,then up that steep part to the top,knackered but enjoyed it.was a beaut night pitched up not so far from where you did but on the little bit called short stile,beaut little spot for the tent.
nice vid as usual pal .i like bamford . its our goto place if we want a quick overnighter . its easy enough to walk up . but higher enough still to get some good views and bad weather lol atb kev
Cheers Kev..walked over plenty times but never camped & always thought i need a camp here.theres a great ledge further back along the edge but that particular spot is where the view is.had my fill of bad weather over winter,ready for plenty more of these grand summer nights now.tfw mate..Andy.

Thanks Paul..cracking place up there,there's a nice grassy ledge too further back along the edge but that spot is where the view is.some great views in the peak district & agree it's up there with the best.I use the go-pro for the night lapses,quite easy to use when you get your'e head round the settings.be great to meet up pal where ever that may be,weather permitting hoping to be out this wknd..tfw mate..Andy.

Hi Anthony & thanks..there's a little road off to the left before you approach the bridge over the railway coming out of bamford i use.plenty space there for several cars & never had no bother.tfw.Andy.
