Who needs a TV when you are blessed with views as nice as that hey Andy 🙏🙏🙏. I lived in the Pyrenees for 9 years and views like that were a regular occurrence . Sitting outside watching sunrises and sunsets was part of my daily and nightly routine , i was living the dream but i never factored in having grandkids so i decided to move back to the UK to be part of their lives which is wonderful in itself however i appreciate simple things in life like this more than ever because living in Manchester its mostly grey cloud and pissin down rain 😏 and thats why i have to get u a mountain for my weekly dose of escapism 🤩 Here's a 5er to help towards your parking fees 😉 ATVB
What a night this was .. I camped up cold pike this night and as you said in video "no camera can do the colours in the sky justice' .. I was in the "tiny" oex photo 1 on this camp and slept with the door open all night 🌙 ✌️
Was that the Monday night Andy? ....same conditions I had over on Harter. What a banger!..... Gonna get on Great end soon. Awesome capture 👏. Loved it........
Another cracking video Andy narrated with boundless energy and enthusiasm. I don't do much walking now but i still spend a lot of time outdoors birding. I get some really weird looks whilst i'm in converstion with people i meet on twitches when i sometimes stop mid sentence to exclaim, "Ay up mate, have you seen these light conditions?" I'm sure it's a curse born out of the time i've spent in the high places like your good self. You're living and experiencing your dream bud. As Curtis Mayfield once said, "Keep on keeping on". I don't know whether or not you've seen Richard Hammond describing Buttermere as his special place on RU-vid? It's fantastic! Check it out if you've not seen it!
We’ve been to the Lake District umpteen times, and will continue to do so as we can. But I have never seen the mountains in such beauty. It was quite moving watching it. That’s probably your best one so far Andy. Thanks for bringing that treat into our living room 👍
Layering system brilliant tip andy took all my gear out of stuff sacks and its saved me a good bit of room and its so much easier took pack good tip that pal and brilliant video mate 👍
Amazing mate, on the train to Windermere in the morning for a week long bimble about. 14kgs of gear and food packed so hopefully several wild campspots to be found
Pitched my tent in the farm last Monday evening and noticed your van there 😁. Was hoping to bump into you on the paths but unfortunately didn't. On the plus side bagged myself 10 Wainwright's through the week, my first solo outing in the Lakes so was pleased with that . Great video thanks for sharing 👍🎒
Was up Northumberland that week on holiday, the weather was absolutely mint, not too warm for me too, and what a peachy area that is up there, perfect for it up there. Cracking video as always, TFS David
Ok Andy, you have convinced me, I have GOT to go and camp in the Lakes, those views from where you were pitched were literally other worldly! By the way, what camera are you using? Best regards. Bri.
Absolutely stunning mate 😊 I remember this weather window with regret, as I was stuck on shifts & couldn’t get out. Fab conditions. Lovely spot that, for the memory bank. Take care Andy, Dave
Great video Andy. We were certainly blessed with superb conditions. Great to catch up with you and the walk down to Seathwaite in the morning. Thanks for the mention. ATB mate . 😊👍
Great video Andy and love seeing the x mid pro being used, I really need to get my head back in the game and get out with mine, not been out since March. Hope you are good?
Cracking video Andy. Get exactly what you mean. It’s a rare one to be getting those kind of conditions. Gutted I missed all that weather due to work. That pitch too 👌 ATVB Robert
Thanks once again Andy, loved the channel from the start and the passion for what you experience is pure class to watch. Watching the posts on Insta when you are heading into camp are great, as we then know there will be a video dropping soon, take care Andy and thanks for sharing as always.
Brilliant video with stunning shots. Whilst I'm green with envy, your enthusiasm carries us viewers along for the adventure. Thanks for sharing the spectacle.
30 mins in, smiling at you not finding the words. Yep. And then again at the forgotten scotch egg. Yep, that would get me too. Epic sunset with a scotch egg, living the dream mate
i camped at seal stones coming up via blackden brook! Rite good scramble with a proper little climb if you want to take a proper good look at the waterfall! This 1 is deffo on my list
Love your videos. Did my first wild camp at Edale Rocks a few days ago. The views were Incredible and I was treated to a cloud inversion - very special.
