Enjoyed that Gaz and a nice sheltered spot for weather like that. I didn’t realise you can get a bus from Sheffield until Nigel from Peterborough told me a couple of weeks back I’m definitely going to use that next time. It will enable me to get right up to Bleaklow in one day. I’ve asked before but forgot, are you from Peterborough. Anyway great watch Cheers 👍🏕️

Hi Dave, thanks for watching. It was a great pitch. On the tops the wind was quite strong but down lower it was so much calmer. It was your video that gave me the tip about getting the bus into Fairholmes so thanks for that! Great sometimes to go via public transport so you don’t have to worry about the car. All adds to the adventure. Although, it is nice to just swing the bag in the boot at the end of a camp! All the best! 😀👍🏻

Nice spot that Gav…love it up there, beautiful isn’t it? last time I was up there with my dad it was scorchio, in shorts, could see for miles. Absolutely. Was a great adventure regardless of the weather. But, must admit, milder weather with no rain would be good! 😂 That ridge along Rowlee Pasture is a great viewpoint of Crookstone Knoll and Fairbrook. 😀

Great stuff, thank you, I usually take the car but always a little worried it will get vandalised or even disappear while I’m away for a night or 2. Was around 20 years ago I last traveled on a bus.

It’s £2 a ticket. So £4 altogether which is great, cheaper than the cost of car parking. Drops you off right near the Fairholmes cabin so you can wander down and get a bacon roll and a coffee. 😎
