I've really missed these non live D and D sessions, as funny as they usually are, it'll be nice to get to see a boss fight go somewhat like how Johnny planned it, without any looming deadlines

I imagine Dob will run up the mountain only to look to the side and realise, the correct mountain was next to him the whole time!

The line "we're going to do so much stuff with ropes" immediately made me think "have you guys agreed on a safe-word for Prudence to ignore?"

Egbert's -1 wisdom makes for some amazing RPing.

Interesting thing about Octopus: They have blue blood. Its copper based as opposed to our red iron based blood. They are poikilotherms which means they rapidly adjust to the temperature around themselves and consequently have a physiology that can withstand a great range of temperatures. As opposed to us homeotherms who have very precisely regulated internal temperature. (You could say warm blooded and cold blooded but it can get a bit more complicated than that so Ill be overly specific.) Thats why they have blue blood, it works more efficiently at the colder temperatures their bodies reach in often very cold ocean water. While climbing a cold mountain is a little out of the league of your usual Octopus a bit of artistic license means this temperature coping mechanism would make Octilwen quite robust in a chilly climate. However, there is a reason we evolved red blood. While blue blood remains functional at a wide range of temperatures, it is never nearly as efficient as red bloods oxygen transport. Octopus are very much limited by their limited oxygen and get tired very quickly. (Much of how their three hearts beat is related to coping with this strain, as are costly defensive moves like ink.) So while Octilwen may withstand the temperature, assuming it doesnt get _too_ excessively cold, she will run out of stamina very rapidly, particularly at altitude. She may need a breather on one of Dobs barrels.

Going to need a full version of Corazon's Song, Luke. Toss a coin to your pirate, o' valley of plenty.

Predictions: Merilwen will be precious as always but will then commit many murders

Luke's reaction to seeing an injured creature just being an immediate "I cast 'Heal Wounds' on it!", without even checking what it is, is just most wholesome Dob thing to do

OMG I loved their struggling with haikus at the beginning. I have a bard who only casts bardic inspiration on her teammates IF she has a poem about it. It usually ends up being a haiku. When I play her, my notes are literally filled with half-written poems. Her latest being: I'm scared of this room I wish we weren't here. Keep me alive, And I'll buy you a beer.

Prudence doesn't actually need her hands to spider climb, the point of the spell is being able to just walk up walls as if it's the floor. But I like the image of a tiefling crab-walking up a cliff edge.

Love the non-live D&D sessions 😁 Whilst audience interaction is great and all, at least here we can take our time and there'll be no last minute dash or fudging to finish the boss fight.

I'm only a few minutes in, but I snorted out loud at "Binbag just Kramer-ed his way into the house."

That moment when Bismuth came in with the tent for them. All I heard was Bismuth enters pitching a tent... which is a frightful image I did not need in my mind.

All I can say is it's good thing Octowen has antifreeze. Getting stuck to a mountain would be embarrassing.

Prudence & Corazon might be a bit in trouble. 😂 Since Ellen has a dancing background and used to teach dances, it would be cool if Merilwen could do something like in an Final Fantasy "Overdrive" way a "Forest Dance". Prudence have as talent "Magical Dancing" it could be a deadly double dance where Merilwen's "Forest Dance" give the party a supportive shield during Prudence "Moonlight Dance" give the shield dangerous burning lightnings or something that hurt the enemies when they try to break the shield. It could be combined when Dob use his music skills making it then a trio overdrive. Or Egbert use Blazin Fire to make Merilwen's arrow a fire arrow... the possibilities are endless and that's what I love with what they come up next in every episode & video. Thank you so much you guys. :)

I love when they get to have a long adventuring session that doesn't have to get cut short for time because it's a live show.
