Grace, certified homewrecker on all levels. Also, Tommy is a sick man - reveals there's someone else to May and then says "oh maybe we can still get it on with each other" May is leagues better than Grace. A business woman who can see through the BS, the ride or die girl too. May was the one. It's also crazy because the amount of doors she could open for him as well

I think it's because Grace got him out of mental trauma. But yes for us the audience, May is a way better character to be a wife.

He was kind of right about the Polly thing though. She didn't know what type of guy she was dealing with, and she overstepped and paid the price for it. She was going off of what happened in the past, and it blocked her thoughts about Campbell and how bad he is, when she should've just let Tommy deal with it. It was also a contradiction to what she said in season 1 saying that "Tommy will never let someone take your son away". He's also right about Polly going to kill Campbell, not because Michael was upset, but because of the assault. It doesn't make Polly a bad character, just emotional and impatient when it comes to her child.
