I made these today for my family and they absolutely LOVE them... I always watch other videos to see different ingredients used but whenever I make them the way you do they turn out great and perfect... I love how you bake, so careful, clean and precise.. Thanks for this and will always make these. My husband is taking the rest to work and I know his coworkers will love them..
I’d never tasted fudge before but decided to make this. My family and friends loved it and said it was the best fudge they’d ever tasted. The reward far outweighed the effort. Thank you.
I started making these 4 years ago when I was first invited to the coolest Christmas party in town! They were such a huge hit, I've gotten an invitation to return every year since!
I have been making this since early 1980's. Love how easy it is. I make my buckeyes and peanut butter balls out of it. I have also put a layer of chocolate on top of it. It is so versatile, and can be made with crunchy as well. I have even put it on top of rice Krispy treats before, my kids loved it.
I just made this recipe tonight. It is so easy! The hardest part is sifting the sugar. My husband helped me with the sifting part (it just takes a while to sift the sugar). So yummy indeed. Tommorow I am making another batch (chocolate fudge this time). This fudge is for a Christmas party... next time I will double the recipe. This was my 19 year old son's suggestion. It is so creamy. ***** Five Stars rating from Me..
We love your comments however due to our busy schedule questions on the recipes may take some time. We check our Facebook page more often so if you would like a quicker answer post your question there. A link to our Facebook page is in the description above.
I’ve never been able to make fudge and it turn out correctly. I tried this recipe and it came out perfect! It taste just like the fudge I buy from the candy store for $4.99 for a quarter pound. Thank you so much for the recipe!
Fantastic - turned out beautiful - tip::: I used 3 cups of icing sugar not 4 and put some melted marshmallows on the top and wow it is a hit - I made it for dessert - thank you Joy❤🌷
Yes Thank You So Much ❤️ I tried to make this fudge as soon as I watched your video and I made it and it turned out wonderful my husband loved it and I have never made it because I never thought I could but Thank s to You I did good ❤️😊
my sister is making some right now..... i will let you know how it taste when she is done!!! wish her luck! *update: she finished it and it taste delicious. thank u
I just made this earlier in the week, but accidentally added salt along with using salted butter. It's awesome! Just enough salt to complement the sweetness perfectly, especially if you like sweet and salty things. So good, in fact, that I made it again this morning, only this time I used crunchy peanut butter instead of creamy. Out of this world! Or, as the Canucks would say, "oat" of this world. LOL
BigMan7o0 Yes, absolutely. I happen to like nuts in my fudge, so using crunchy peanut butter rather than creamy just eliminates the step of having to chop peanuts and adding them to the mix. It's just a matter of personal preference.
Yes those fudge are very rich my family love them and am planning tomake some for my Goddaughter birthday party. I love your baking i also make the cinnamon roll and they came out excellent thanks for shearing your recipe. I subscribe
Stephanie, I love your stuff. I don't know if it's a sin or really cooking but someone shared this version with me. Try this one: 1 - 12oz jar peanut butter,( or almond or sunflower) 1 -12oz can Fudge (or chocolate or cream cheese or vanilla) frosting, heat both in microwave for 30 sec, mix together - add some vanilla - cool -enjoy! (there's less sugar here)
While fudge is cooling in fridge, melt some semisweet chocolate chips on low in a pan on stovetop with small amount heavy cream. When melted, remove from heat. Add some vanilla extract and powdered sugar to thicken. Spread over set fudge.
I thought it was kind of silly the first time I saw her put foil on the reverse side but it does help. I was always punching holes in the foil in the corners when I put it in first.
This is so grat!! I love how you include tips, and especially appreciate you giving the measurements in the different conversions. I'm in Australia and it can get frustrating to watch (really good!) videos from American cooks, but have to convert inches to cm, pounds to grams etc. You've made this so easy. I have all the ingredients at home so I'm off to make it now. Thanks!!!
Handy hint - I use a silicon baking pan instead of greasing up a cake tin. You can get the silicon cake pans etc now. You can pop the fudge right out of the silicon ones.
I've never tried using spreading butter. Typically that type of butter contains water to make it spreadable, so I'm not sure whether that would affect the texture of the fudge. Because regular butter hardens when cold which is what you want so it hardens the fudge.
Thank you so much for this recipe. I made a batch today aftrnoon and it came out so well. Its festival season for us. The festival of lights called Diwali and one of the sweets that i made is this....
I really enjoyed your presentation, so easy & clearly demonstrated, thank you very much. Now i will always have ready some delightful snacks for my friends.
Store them up to a week in the fridge? Lol. I don't think they will last even two days in my fridge! It looks delicious, I'm going to try it soon! Thanks....😁
A can of Betty crocker Vanilla one minute in the microwave and one jar of peanutbutter creamy or chuncky also one minute in the microwave blend the two ingredients well, pour into a lined pan and cool 2 hours in the fridge, take out and cut into squares while its cold.
I really don't know about that. I have a Simple Chocolate Fudge recipe and video where I combine melted chocolate with a can of sweetened condensed milk. But I've never tried just adding powdered sugar to melted chocolate. Might be worth a try, though.
I make fudge the traditional way so was so excited to try this shortcut n it worked.. so I too was wondering if chocolate fudge can be done this way too?
Looks nice and easy too make and thanks for giving the measurements in metric. I dont understand the old imperial stuff. I will give this a try when I eat my other fudge.
Hi - I do really enjoy watching your productions. I read a few of the questions and wonder if you could answer the ones from Divya Bhatt and Amanda Milbrodt, please, as I'd like to know the answers? Thank you and I look forward to seeing many more of your recipes!
Love your videos and recipes, easy to understand and trustworthy. Could you make a video of Scottish Tablet (not fudge) please because I can not find a proper one. Many Thanks
The trick to making tablet is that u need to simmer the mixture for an hour, stirring constantly then beating the mixture in the pan for ten mins before pouring into a baking tray. Make this all the time.
Cup measurements are great for dry ingredients, for things like peanut butter and syrup put bowl or cooking pot on the scales and zero them and weigh the ingredients straight into them less waste and less clean up.
