That was the most dead reaction i seen to Black 😂 I was 23 when this song came out and it was the bomb bro. They don’t make music like the 90s anymore, which was hands-down the best era.
That’s cause SHE wants to sit on Eddie’s lap just like every woman watching this. Oh Yhea……. HE HAS US DEEP IN OUR HEADS❤ You don’t even wanna know the details……..❤
@@AnthonyLiccione you can see these folks clearly have not grown up with sophisticated music in the household. No frame of reference whatsoever. No history. No nothing. Not even on their channel.
Ngl, I kinda feel disrespected, for PJ, I have watched reactions by a lot of people who barely speak English and they got moved by Eddie's voice n the passion/pain he sings this song n then I watch this reaction n I was like wow, not in a good way either. Running a reaction channel is somewhat of a responsibility, if you're not really into doing that just watch YT vids of your fave bands (backstreet boys)
Has anyone ever seen the SNL skit the “A-Holes”? It was like watching a reaction video done by them. Especially the way she twirled her hair. I was waiting for the guy to say “Hey babe” while loudly chewing gum.
Their entire Unplugged show was incredible. You could pick any song from that show and enjoy it. Oh, and only the drummer has changed and they're still selling out tours all over the world.
The vocal fry on Dory the fish, forgive me, "Amanda".. is just the top of a short but comprehensive list of how you two together are adding to the suck in the world. Imagine watching this performance and being -that- dead inside, at your age. Phew. Good luck.
I think it was quite evident which parts moved them if only someone bothers to look at their faces and body language. It wasn't dead to me, this is simply what it looks like when someone is actually listening.
Yes, PJ is still performing. In fact they’ve consistently been known as one of the best live bands in rock. Each show is unique, and their fans are some of the most loyal. There’s no one like them. And yes, Eddie Vedder is a beautiful man, both inside and out. I hope you keep diving into their music. Next maybe the uncensored “Jeremy”, and I’d suggest looking at some of Eddie’s solo work. Especially the music he did for the soundtrack of the movie, “Into The Wild”. Particularly “Society”, “Rise”, “Guaranteed’, and “Hard Sun”. There’s a great video of him performing Society, with Johnny Depp on guitar.
Yes they're still performing. They toured this year. Most likely will tour next year. The drummer you see in this and the Porch video was their 3rd drummer. They're on their 5th drummer now. He's the longest tenured drummer in the band. He also drummed on the demos that were sent to Eddie Vedder before Eddie joined the band.
Once the album/CD was made the original drummer Dave Kruzen left the band. In stepped Dave Abbruzzese was as tour of 91/92 played with PJ. He was drumming on PJ
Pearl Jam was and is one of the all time great American rock bands! The entire album TEN is a jam. You’ll probably recognize something! Alive, Evenflow, Jeremy!!! Later, Better Man! Eddy Vedder lead singer did a rendition of Better Man on the last David Letterman show ever. You can find on RU-vid also! Love that you were lost in his voice! Amazing ❤️✌️
When I was born I hit the ground running. I wasn't sheltered at all. My dad was a biker/musician/Vietnam vet mom was a hippe there way of raising kids was let them do what they want if it don't kill them then they'll learn more.. I was never told not to do anything. I drink my first beer at 8 yrs with my dad he gave another beer I told him I didn't want another he called a p😁ssy nobody calls me that so I drank it.. Lol😎🤘
You've got to go back in that area and farther - Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, and many others were amazing singers. They took that from their favorite bands like Queen, The Who (Eddie's favorite), AC/DC, etc. There's always a thru-line.
Her first reaction to clicking on "Pearl Jam - "Black" Unplugged Is "it's acoustic...?!" 😑 Duuuuude! I don't know if I can do this one..! We will see... Edit: after 1st vs , "I like his hair...and complexion.." Ok, I'm out. Dude says, "I'm lost in his voice" - THANK YOU! You're alright, m'dude. Pearl Jam is wasted on your Missus, though.. 🤷♂️
Y’all really should check out Alice In Chains mtv unplugged concert.. Down in a hole or Nutshell or Got me Wrong are good ones to start with.. they are right up y’all’s alley, kinda dark but phenomenal musicians, definitely the best of the MTV unplugged albums
sludge factory is in my opinion the best song from the Alice in Chains unplugged but they are all honesty so great. The whole beginning where its like, "what're you looking at man, what's my motivation here" and Jerry saying away from the mic its okay dude giving Layne some support. Being Laynes second to last live performance I think it is one of his best by far considering how much he was struggling in life at the time and still sounded amazing.
When someone calls unplugged "old school" 😭I guess I'm officially old now. I remember when MTV came out. Going to go cry in the corner in my late midlife crisis now lol
Diana Ankudinova has the most unique voice on the planet if you are looking for something incredibly special in our current era. Teen sensation, dark, complex, mesmerizing, primal and ethereal at the same time...Check out her cover of Wicked Game at the age of 15. Mind boggling. Enjoyed your video. I loved Pearl Jam in the 90's.
I'll just say you are missing out on a whole era of AMAZING! Not knowing Unplugged. Not knowing Pearl Jam. Not knowing if you've heard this voice before. Not knowing grunge. I hope you discover it all some day.
I just came across you guys tonight and love your reactions. Highly, highly, highly suggest doing Harry Mack Omegle Bars 42 and 45. You will be absolutely mind blown and he has a massive, loyal following. So you will get tons of views! Also, would love to see you do more reactions from the Pearl Jam MTV Unplugged Sessions
Dam People! Its a reaction! your reaction is just as beatiful. Nobody has the same reaction listening to the same song. Do you agree? Everybody's reaction is just as beautiful. Music is what we all have in common.
I think that I am the first generation that can truly say that the new music sucks. I follow the older bands and new indy bands to get good music these days.
Yeah dude was into it she was a pain and checked out with inappropriate laughing, that annoying dog. if you are going to react, listen. "Dare I say grungy?" WTF
When you told us to go "fuck ourselves", i decided to subscribe. You do yourselves, and if people like it, they will keep watching. Those that don't like it, can please themselves and go and listen to their Pearl Jam playlist. The fact you are listening to a lot of Metallica and Pearl Jam is good enough for me. We just gotta get you to start doing Led Zeppelin (and maybe some Chris Cornell)and all will be right with the world. Oh, and i'm from Australia. Us Aussies watch a lot of these music reaction channels. If you want to increase your Aussie watchers, check out some Cold Chisel...they are in my top 3 favourite bands and don't have a bad song. They are awesome live too.
You guys are hilarious! Puncturing the culture of overly heightened “amazed” reactions with real ones, it seems more honest. Keep it up! BTW I believe this song is about the breakup of Eddie’s first marriage
