I finally take my exams Friday and Saturday! Pray for me, my class was suppose to test together but for some reason they only let 3 people register for the exam at our school. The rest of us are testing in different places😒
Hi, Helen! Yes, but you will need to do extra steps that may impact your time. 1. Remove & dispose of gloves. 2. Verbalize "washing hands". 3. Perform closing procedures. 4. Don clean gloves, then dispose of supplies. Remember, you will want to perform actions in the most logical and efficient manner.

Step 8 I failed and not sure why! The catheter was Velcroed to the mannequin which we did practice in class and I found it awkward so trying to determine what I did wrong

once you tell the patient that you will be grabbing supplies, then you verbalize "washing hands". it just lets the NAE (nurse aide evaluator) that in real life, you would wash your hands and you're maintaining hand hygiene.
