I pray your husband is all recovered and you all are safe. You are awesome. Thank you, Nurse Julie!! Great job getting 5k subscribers. I may work on that once I get my NAC. I love you!
Good morning Mrs Julie. I will be taking my exam Wednesday 18th. I've been watching all your videos and am more confident that I will pass. Please pray 🙏 for me. I will definitely come back to share my pass with you and everyone. Thanks a lot for your great work. God will continue to bless you. And may God heal your dear husband 🙏 amen
Yeeeey I passed from the first try , I would like to thank you so much u are the best one I watched ur videos for 5 days only and I was ready Thanks for your help and god bless
Thank you for your videos. I passed my CNA test on the first try. Just finished my first week of nursing clinicals. You prepared me well. Radial pulse was my measurement skill I had. We have to wear latex gloves because of COVID. I was nervous, extra nervous because of this. I passed... Advice-Take your time. Recount to confirm count is very similar. Have confidence in yourself. Best wishes to all of you! Believe in yourself, and you can do this!
You’re really good at explaining the procedures. The tips you’re providing and info about how the exam would go really helps decrease my anxiety on my upcoming test. Thank you!
@@NURSEJAR You're very welcome! Im from Scranton Pa area. I'll be practicing along with your videos to freshen up on skills. I lost my certification a few years back because of no jobs in my area, and i didn't have a vehicle at that time to travel out of the area for a job. They said i just needed to do the skills part. God bless!
@@NURSEJAR I really enjoy your video's. You have a great confidence within. Confidence is very important to accomplish what we want to achieve in life.

Hi Mrs Julie I'm watching your videos from New York .your videos is very helpful to me. Please how can I get your past questions and answers so that it will help me pass my exam CNA. Thank you for making your self available for me and others. God bless you.
Good morning Mrs Julie, I love your enthusiasm when you teach and your precision to details in each skill, but I was wondering, & I'm not trying by any means to point out that you missed anything but when checking someone's pulse don't you still have to identify the resident
Hi ! I hope your husband is doing ok Ms. Julie. With all this panic going on.. personally, my mom is a smoker. My husband is still working and living in the same house, so yeah we are disinfecting and taking way too many precautions. I cant wait till this is over Soon. Is it possible to get two or more measurement skills in the state exam?
Radial pulse is something i struggle with. My biggest problem is getting messed up when I feel faint pressures or pauses in the pulse. It'll mess up my counting. I'll lose the pulse count and once I feel the pressure again I'll start counting again, from (what I think) is an inaccurate number. Since, you can only be 4 beats off, I wouldn't want to over count or under count the pulse beats. Any tips on what can help me with counting what I feel and not what I think should come next? Also, can we use our fingertips (index and middle) to record the pulse, or would we just be feeling our own pulse? I find it easier to count the pulse by pressing with my fingertips, not the flat part of my fingers. Will the NAE fail me if they see me doing it this way? Also, do you have any tips when it comes to partners with weak pulses?
Hi, Blackberries12! I dropped another video this morning giving tips on how to help you accurately count the person's pulse. It should be available for viewing in about an hour. As far as using your fingertips to palpate the pulse, this is usually the norm and highly acceptable. You may position your fingertips in any manner that will help you better feel the person's pulse.
Hi Mrs. Julie! I'm in Pennsylvania and my instructor said we need to use a watch for this and respirations. You use the clock though. Which should i use if I get these skills and if its a watch how will the nae follow time with me? Thank you again for all your great videos!!!
Hi, Alyssa! We encourage students to bring an analog watch with a second-hand to Testing just in case there is no clock. If using your watch, the NAE will be able to follow along with his or her watch, as you will tell the NAE when you will start and stop your count. Hope I answered your question!
Hi Nurse Julie, Will the testing facility have a clock for us to time the pulse check? I have been doing this with my phone in class and was wondering if i need to go purchase a watch with a second hand on it?
Hi, Nancy! All testing sites are required to have a clock with a second-hand. The clock will usually be mounted to the wall above the live-person's bed. But, it's always better to be safe and not sorry!!! Bring a watch with a second-hand just in case!
Hi, Analyn! You can find my nail care training video in my Prometric playlist. My Foot Care video is in my Nurse Aide Training Videos playlist. Let me know if you have trouble locating them.
@@NURSEJAR thx for responding to me! So I tested in Washington Seattle, I got urine measurement, feed a client, transfer from bed to wheel chair and pericare. Unfortunately because of last minute pressure I did not use enough water for washing and rinsing while doing pericare. I did all the steps perfect just like you do in your videos but I guess the dry wash clothes failed me so I failed
@@NURSEJAR I rescheduled for June 5th so I will keep watching your videos! They are everything I need in addition to the nurse guide. My biggest scare is blood pressure I struggle to find the brachial artery!
Hi, Louis! You need only provide privacy for your bedside skills. However, I train my students to do so during their opening procedures and to leave the curtain maintained. This way, no matter what, privacy will be maintained throughout your skills exam and you will receive credit.
Hi, Tammy! All of my videos are good for the state of Georgia, as this state also tests under Pearson Vue. You can find all of the skills training videos in the "Nurse Aide Training Videos" playlist.
I did pass miss Julie after been home for almost 1 year i did it with my first try because of you thank you so much i now recommend you to lots of other ladies
