I've watched dozens upon dozens of Pebble videos and I'm convinced that Kelly's calm demeanor, soothing voice and playful chit-chat with Pebble--whether he understands what she's saying at the moment or not--has helped to rehabilitate Pebble's potty mouth. I still get a huge kick out of her rants but it's so heartwarming to see her just chilling with Kelly and talking about Volkswagens and other important birdie matters and trying to steal his sunnies. You're just so special, Pebble.💕
I just discovered Pebbles today. I just started to follow Max and Gotcha and came across Pebbles. Her body language in combination with her intellect and beauty.....what can I say, I am truly too impressed for words! Except to say that she is PRICELESS!!!!! Thank you so much for caring for her and sharing her with us all. God's creatures are true gifts to us all!
There's also female Harley, and another named Benjamin. They all have such fun baby like personalities! All of them have their own quirks...enjoy all the cockatoos you've found!
Kelly, this is my favorite video that you've made with Pebble! It's amazing how she just talks and talks. I love how she nods her head when she's saying "Yeah, Hmm Hmm". She is so expressive. You can see the love between the two of you in all your videos.

@@Injudiciously hi! Pebble is a rescue bird from a shelter Kelly frequented is my understanding of things. She'd been severely mistreated by previous owners and was just about knocking at death's door when the shelter rescued her and between Kelly and them they've since nursed her back to health. It's quite an amazing story! I encourage you to check it out on this channel. Kelly's a great guy and an EXCELLENT Daddy to our girl Pebble. Great question, btw! Hope I answered it for you?

I'm so addicted to Pebbles ❤️ I watch her every night when I climb into bed. She relaxes me with laughter so I can sleep. I've been looking online for her green favorite toy with ribbons but have yet to find the exact one for her! I'm So fucking happy that she found a forever home with you.
@@gaiamaja6072 He and Pebble (the bird) are friends, but he has other friends, like us. He makes videos with Pebble because she is unique, and alot of fun, so he can share her with us. He (Kelly) is talking to us through his videos, even though it looks like he's only talking to Pebble. Peace to you.
Pebbles is ADORABLE! Whatever she was saying it was very important.... Ranting or not ya just can't help but love her! I've promised my man Pete (a Quaker Parrot) I wouldn't get on his case as much for the bad language (i live next door to a church) as his lungs are MUCH smaller than Pebbles....therefore his volume is much lower i'm sure lol! But even with the windows closed you can clearly hear him drop the F bomb, & the G dammit! He came with that language being a rescue. I really wouldn't take him any other way though...☺ It was a crash course in parrots....i knew nothing going in, but wanted to give him only the best. I've never regretted my decision once! 15 yrs in i'm still amazed at his intelligence! Hat's off to you for giving Pebbles the home she deserves!
Wow, you just jumped in the deep end, huh? That’s seriously impressive, given the amount of work that parrots need for a happy home, and the many unexpected things that can hurt or kill them. Definitely a crash course, and fifteen years down the line I’d say you passed with flying colors. No pun intended. If anyone should complain, just tell them that Pete’s a rescue that you adopted, and that someone else taught him that language. How could anyone not forgive a rescued bird for language they learned pre-rescue and still call themself a Christian? His wellbeing in a loving home is far more important. A gentle reminder of that should hopefully do the trick. All the best to both of you. I’m so glad your boy found such a loving and committed home, and you found someone who really needed that love, and can return it with his whole heart.

I think they are ALL special which I guess why I’ve lived with 4 for more than 20 years now and my crash course was with an untame open banded handfuls cherry head conure named Flapper who I still have. That was over 30 years ago. They really show you their truths sometimes in words but most often in behavior. But I never feel alone when I’m the only human home. They are high maintenance in some ways but overall a great pet for someone who is home a lot and not working a full time job outside the home. It can be done but it’s really not. Is it just me but why are there no good parrot emojis?
I enjoy watching and listening to Pebble. I have too many cats or I would probably have a rescued cockatoo. My sister had a male and female and every time I called her the female would get so darn loud shrieking I could barely hear my sister. But the funny this was when the male would start up. He would call the female by name and tell her to shut up LOL Please keep making Pebble video's, I love to watch them because of her entertaining antic's and her interaction with you. It's pretty obvious she's your feathered baby. Thanks for taking the time to share her with her adoring public.

As kelly always says : don't shop, adopt ! He is so right. And think twice before you get an animal, no matter what kind of animal. Can I give all the care, all the love and time an animal needs ? Will I be there in good and in bad times ? Be honest to yourself ! Loving animals can also mean not having one, because I can't give my pet all it needs! ❤❤❤

In the beginning I think she's talking to the other birds (whistles & chirps.) With talking, she's using her car voice, for sure (not the indoor harried female voice), than later her usual voice. . I LOVE Pebbles! I work in an after school program at my Catholic Church. I was telling one of the older boys about Pebbles, of course, I just showed him what she did when she gets riled up. The way she walks back and forth, throwing a fit, shaking her head, and cursing! Now, every time Frederico is there, he asks me about Pebbles, and wants to know more about her! Pebbles, you are a STAR!!!
