The loco was bought for £25 off eBay and initially was modified by fitting a Deltang Rx65c receiver/controller. The body has now been more radically refurbished with 3D printed front and rear bonnets, resin cast cab fittings and a 3D printed driver. The soundcard is from AliExpress. The engine note is supposed to rise and fall in relation to the loco speed, but the servo signal generated by the Rx needs to be tweaked to provide a greater range from zero ao max.
