Dude, I watched this video so long ago. Why I waited so long to get this I don't know. This is the exact product I needed when I drove my truck off the Lot. The lag was so bad and I just lived with it. I am running City 3 and its fine, but quick. What a great product! Thanks for sharing. I yeah, I need to check my ADDW1 catch can I also installed. Thanks for the tips.🤙👍
I just installed a Trifecta tune and replaced the throttle body with a Katech no more lazy throttle. The tune has a sport mode that's can be turned on and off with your cruise. It really woke the response up. The 6.2L wasn't lazy before but now WOW factor
Its interesting to me that he says his Duramax has quick throttle response. I have a 2014 GMC Sierra with the DM and between the time I press the pedal and the time my truck starts getting out of it's own way, I grow facial hair, do my taxes, watch grass grow...What I'm sayin is, there's a huge delay in response. I just ordered the PC today. I can't wait. My heart cant take pulling out into traffic any more and sitting there watching oncoming cars come towards me whilst sitting still with my foot to the floor.
@@alexcarbajal6632 Hi Alex. The unit can be a bit tricky when you first install it. If you do get an error code, remove the Pedal Commander and put it back to original config. I had read that you should have your vehicle fob at least 30' away for about 20 minutes. Using only the key, leaving the fob 30' away, start your vehicle and you should not see any issues. Turn your vehicle off/on a couple times to be sure. Now, with your fob still 30' away, reinstall the Pedal Commander and start your vehicle with the key only and you should be good to go. I have been running mine now for over 3 years with no further issues. (I run at Sport+ @ +1 and love it!)
Yes please do a demo video and I have a 03 silverado would u recommend running it on sport plus 2 on daily been wanting to get one but heard lots of negative thanks for a great review
Hey Dustin, another awesome video.... Question though, on minute 1:51, I see a cable of what seems to be the AFM (range tech) When you tested the PC65 was the AFM device also hooked up?.... I already have the AFM and now, thanks to your review, I just bought the Pedal Commander. I'm afraid the 2 items will interfere with each other. Can I run them both or one at a time?
I can’t believe it’s been a year and no one ever responded to this!😮 I would also like to know the answer to this as I also have the AFM Disabler plugged into my OBD2 port. Can someone with some knowledge on this let us know? Thank you
@@Channel0002 I answered it by trial and error. I've been using both AFM and PC without any problems. I had an unfortunate event where I had to drive from Texas to NY. I took the chance to "test" the AFM on the highway. (I wasn't truly convinced it did anything on the highway) boy was I wrong. I've had it plugged in ever since and only unplug it when I need to use my OBD
I have a problem with this product,my truck (2016 Chevy Silverado 5.3) is way too jumpy on City mode,I’ve tried from mode 1 to 8 and it’s way too aggressive, not fun at all.. then I tried ECO and my truck was responding slower than stock.. can anyone explain why is this happening to me.. the sport mode is absolutely NO for me,just a touch on pedal and the tires start squeaking ,way tooo aggressive !..
