Yeah, because everyone actually stomps on pedals instead of pressing them with your foot. And because the Behringer is made of this really brittle plastic that will break if you breathe on it, you don't dare do anything other than lightly feather it in fear of it shattering to dust. STFU.

Don't sleep, Behringer pedals are so cheap and flimsy that even just pressing on them will flex the PCB. It's only a matter of time until they fail. @@dingpuikhaute8095 If your amp has an effects loop, you plug the pedal in to the "return" side of the loop. You will bypass the preamp and IMHO get amazing tones with this pedal. I use the metal zone with my block letter 5150 all the time. Plug it in the front, she works, but........plug it in the rear, she screams.

Ive got a wall of vintage and new guitars, a library of effects pedals, a Behringer half stack, a Marshall 100h half stack, and a block letter 5150 FULL stack. I know guys with none of that and they will put me to shame. Save your money, dont be scared to buy used gear, and above all else..... KEEP MAKING MUSIC.

I own one, and had the metal zone before. $20 versus $120 for something I feel has more oomph, and the exact same circuits, it is a no brainer. love my um300.

That's exactly what I do. Just happens to be a Behringer EQ pedal that I use.

Been using the metal zone since it came out, boost it with a tubescreamer and you canplay any type metal.. Nown own the waza craft metal zone and it sounds amazing...

Exactly! Stomp eq's fix so many tone problems be it from your guitar or your amp.

I'd say the ultra metal is more thick. but yea the metal zone is very symmetrical clipping. it just sounds...digital idk

You can get a killer tube screamer-ish tone with S-S-S strat and 15 Watt tube amp (i.e. Yerasov GTA-15). Gain on 9~12 o'clock, low on 11, high on 8~9, mid freq on 12, mid boost on 1 o'clock.

Not true. However, one must know how to chain and adjust them into a pedal board and dial in its "one trick pony" as they say. It's just that some pedals are easier to tweak than others. I extensively use both the DOD and Digitech Death Metal Pedals to which I have two noise suppressors (Boss & Behringer) and feed them into the Mooer GE150 or even to my older Digitech RP20, RP12 or GFX1 Twin Tube, then stereo out into two Mooer Radar cab impulse responses. I also mix between 2 to 6 reamp channels for sculpting killer new guitar tones not heard before. I also use a Rocktron Blackjack & Tsunami with a springverb and mooer radar pedal board and a Roland VG88. I easily mix volume levels with either foot pedals or with an Akai APC40 with Ableton Live. For any other pedals I do not have, I will use sims as a final layer of which I prefer the sim on my phone to which I have bought a duplicate with antennas turned off except wifi and use Tonebridge. I prefer even the worst physical pedals over most sims as I cannot get extreme distortions that actually sound good enough as standalone or within the mix of a song. I recommend to anyone to try different setups that include and combine both old gear and new. You will be pleassntly surprised to discover new guitar tones that will fit the songs you are producing that indeed fit the mixdown.
