I mix epoxy and put alcohol ink to match the color of the cup and put that in the lip...when it dries you will not have any leaks.

Thanks! I got quite a few good tips from this video. Your work is good. If I can mention a couple tips... your camera should have an option to flip the video so it's not backwards. And if you do buy a light - even though, somehow, ring lights became popular on RU-vid - please consider an LED or fluorescent light in a small softbox. The lighting and reflections are so much more pleasant. I am an older guy, and I've worked on custom, antique and special interest cars all my life. It pains me to see people handling a prepped cup without gloves, and then wonder where fisheye comes from. There are oils in your skin that get on the cup and repel the resin. My dad built custom cars, and when I was a little kid and would touch a car after he'd sanded it, he'd get pretty upset. That was why. It's enough to catch criminals (fingerprints) and enough to ruin a tumbler.

I started making cups in May and am loving it so far! My oldest daughter is four and has DS. She is one of the greatest blessings I've ever received ❣

Hey girl! Just a heads up I’ve seen a few videos where they seal these with epoxy and wait 72 hours and it seals perfect with no leaks!! I don’t know if that’s something you want to try! 😁😁😁 thank you for the video and the knowledge

I can't keep up. Did you paint the tumbler then add something that you're weeding or just cover with vinyl? You seem to skip around..

So I tried to make this and I have a big area where I have a huge air pocket but I can't fill any more water from the bottom what am I doing wrong

Have you tried sealing with epoxy instead?

So I added the water and glycerin equal parts and mix them till they were clear and put them in my cup but a little while after I sealed my cup the water became White and cloudy

What is the size of the white paper that comes inside of the tumbler?

Did you....put the two part epoxy mix back into your original container at the end??

Hey! Thank you for this tutorial! To help with the water disappearing, I fill the hole at the bottom with my hot glue gun! And it works

I ordered just the little cheap acrylic double walled cups to mess around with but do you think the story board cups are better?

May I ask have you ever had to remove the bottom after it's been glued? How would you do that? I have an issue and need to get it off and fix it. Thanks for any help.
