Thank you for this, I'm attempting my first wall paper application and so worried i'll screw it up. So this was very helpful especially the leveler with the string! I bought beautiful banana leaf tropical print and can't wait to turn my kitchen into a tropical vibe!
1. 1:00 Prep (prep! prep!) wall(s) - clean, free from old wallpaper / debris, drywall painted, holes filled in 2. 2:51 Measure well - take into account pattern repeat 3. 8:54 Don’t pull/stretch wallpaper 4. 9:43 Hang from left to right 5. 12:02 Buy a good exacto knife
That fuzzy part of the wallpaper is a backing of the wallpaper. Just saying. Wallpaper unless it’s a vinyl paper Always has a backing. So it’s like taking two layers of paper off . Also it’s way easier to remove old wallpaper, with a garden sprayer, and diff. Or just warm water. Spraying it and letting it soak in saves a ton of time. Then you can remove the old paste as well. But I’m watching because I don’t install peel and stick in my daily wallpaper job. But I have had to do several jobs lately with this type. I could scream. But I’ll glad you’re trying to show people how to do this. Thank you! 🙏
