Mark certainly chopped that rival alpha male down. And he didn't need mister cutty knife or gunny to do it. He just needed time, a compromised immune system and a bad dose of the flu.
Andrew Smith I know your struggle, realising some people just don’t have taste nor an Interest in getting some is something iv been learning to accept for most of my 20s.
why is that awkward? its not awkward is it. its just an internet-youtube trope to start something potentially funny with "that awkward moment when" now piss off and phrase it normally as one would without trying to appeal to internet culture. i dont know... like "i just binge watched all 9 series of peep show and i already want to go back start again"
As an aficionado of ordering the correct amount of Indian food for up to 12 people, including Americans, I have never needed to order four naans. It is indeed, ‘insane’.
"Jeremy, there are many things I would do to help you. But digging a hole in the wintery earth with my bare hands so that you can bury the corpse of a dog you killed is not one of them." also gets me every time
Why has Peep Show never had high viewing figures? It's one of the best sitcoms of all time, but most people whom I mention it to have never seen it. A high proportion of them haven't even heard of it.
I think it was just one of those shows that went under the radar for a while. I found out randomly about it back around the end of series 5 from this new friend I made when I started college, I'd never heard of it at all before then even though I loved That Mitchell and Webb look, needless to say Peep Show is now one of my favourite shows ever hehe, and everyone I showed/show it to suddenly seem to love it as well! I had a similar kind of experience with It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. It's our job as fans to make sure we show it to as many people as we can as it's just so bloody good! :L
I was hoping it would end in the apocalypse. Bear with me: Upon Mark losing what seems to be his chance of true love his heart truly hardens. Jeremy starts skinning up as he sees on the new wide screen that nuclear annihaltion is imminent. Fortunately for the two of them Croydon isn't on anyones list of places worth destroying so they escape the instant vaporisation. After the dust settles Mark immediately begins hoarding resources and after having the only knife sharpener in the entire tower block sets about cutting down rival alpha males. Then using his knowledge of military tactics and strategy from a life time of reading history books and his love of rationing he becomes warlord of all of England South of the Humber with Johnson as his aide de camp, Jez as his dancing slave girl, Andy as his punching executioner and the kids off the estate as his mindless army that he sends forth to wreak destruction. Marks due to cross the Humber and take the entire country when they see a hooded figure standing alone in the middle of the Humber bridge. Mark demands he stand aside or be consumed by marks marauding army. The stranger removes his hood and reveals the legendary figure of the mutant messiah is real. SUPERHANS!
"No Jeremy, it's not my turkey" will always be the funniest line to me. The sheer disgust in Mark's voice combined with a truly absurd statement like that just sends me every time
So much funny !! Seriously though, it’s easy to forget just how funny this series was until you watch snippets like this and you start to remember each episode they’re from. Absolutely brilliant comedy - along with “Only Fools & Horses” this is one of my favourite ever shows on TV.
With 2023 marking the 20th anniversary of the first Peep Show episode, here's hoping that there'll be something special in store. At least a documentary or three.
been recovering from a surgery for the past 5 days and ive binged this entire show. its so good. Not sure what my fave episode is but “The Love Bunker”, “A Beautiful Mind” and “Sophie’s Parents” come to mind
This is a timeless classic there’s certain comedy shows I can rewatch over and over again every now and then and still enjoy every minute of it peep show is one of them along with red dwarf, trailer park boys there’s more but these are the top three that come to mind.
Can’t believe it’s been over 12 years since I first discovered this show on Hulu after coming home from work in rural Pennsylvania. Time flies when you’re having fun!
0:23, me and the work lads used to make this face at each other during training courses/ team meetings etc and see if anyone broke, always makes me laugh, good times the mid 00’s.
No way! One of the most epic moment for me is Mark Trough all market stuff at the bowling! It is a great and epic moment. Other epic moment is when Mark put Christmas Dinner into the paper crusher.
This show is absolutely amazing I watched this over and over so many times I couldn’t count definitely one of my all time British favourites comedies for me Jeremy made this show super hands was hilarious too 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
