In this video I'm upgrading the older Peg Perego HPX. There is a newer version that is still 12v and will upgrade the same.
Upgrade your Peg Perego with a simple power tools battery adapter. Literally clip a few wires and connect the red to the red and black/blue to the black. I used shrink wrap for this 18v project but you can use electrical tape or even twist nut caps. The kids love it!
I used Milwaukee M18 3AH batteries initially. I did end up purchasing a 2 pack of generic 6AH batteries for longer run times and it was definitely worth it. If you prefer the genuine Milwaukee brand there is a link below for those as well.
