This is actually true. My grandfather lived in Santos and watched all of Pele's career. He said Pele's top peak was from 59 to 64. I asked him many years ago about 1962 and he said "This was his absolute best moment, the world has no idea what would happen on that World Cup had he played it all". Pero, vi cientos y cientos de horas de Pelé jugando solo para este video, para hacer este video. No hay duda, era el mejor y no puedo creer que alguien pudiera igualarlo. I am from a small town in Australia, and the way to I tend to speak is that I naturally drop my Rs. So, "centre", when I say it, sounds like "centa". But, I am aiming to correct this, and striving to ensure my pronunciations are correct - particularly of the Copa Libertadores. Thank you for pointing that out. É verdade amigo. O mundo realmente está carente de jogadores que individualmente faz a diferença, nem é preciso falar no nome do Monarca Pelé. Pra nos não blasfemar. Já falo os com o Ronaldo Fenômeno, Ronaldinho gaúcho, Romário, Maradona, Rivaldo, Riquelme, Bebeto. Viu como não falei no nome do Pelé, até porque o Rei jogando no meio dessa turma boa o jogo se torna uma covardia. E digo mais uma, se o Pelé jogasse nos dias de hoje ele faria de 5 a 6 mil gols na carreira e ganhava umas 9 copas do mundo, e certamente ganharia umas 20 bolas de ouro, já que a própria facção criminosa FIFA falou que o Pelé só não ganhou 12 bolas de ouro porque a premiação só era pra quem jogava na Europa.

Yes many English speakers pronounce it wrong but in later videos the Golimetry narrator says it correctly. (You can hear it in videos after this, I posted once about it and he said he would correct his pronunciation, which he did do)

Yep, I understand what you're saying, and your absolutely correct. Peñarol are actually one of my favourite clubs. But there are people who say that Santos were the best club of all time - I am not saying that myself, just reporting on other people thought. Does that make sense ? @@Golimetry No I'm not from Uruguay, my country still needs to get better at Football, its improving thou But I have been a fan of Uruguayan football since 2006, even thou they didn't qualify for the Fifa world cup that year I support them and cherish their golden history, classic matches, they are one of the classical footballing country with a deep history Penarol and Nacional club success is also phenomenal at International tournaments while Uruguayan players have helped other South American and European clubs also win Continental glories

@@elennet4116 Absolutely - for example, a Independiente fan, would be able to say "my club is the best in the Copa Libertadores" (because they have won the competition the most number of times); But a Santos fan could say "Well, we won the 1962 Copa, the 1962 Intercontinental Cup, we did both again in 1963". A Palmeiras fan might say, "Well, we won the treble in 1993 by winning the Brasileirao Serie A, also the Rio-Sao Paulo tournament, and the Paulista championship" - and so on, as I am sure you understand ! I personally love all football sides, and have no bias against any of them - I just really love the Copa Libertadores and want to spread my love of that tournament, to the entire world. My videos (and soon, my website and audio documentaries) will be my way of doing that. The joy of the Copa Libertadores is so wonderful to me, and I hope to help others enjoy it as well !

In English they say "largest" to mean the same as "most populated" (or also largest to mean "land mass", but usually largest/biggest means most populated for English speakers)

I don't think this is true. Because those old teams didn't have access to the same high level sports scientists and rehabilitation facilities so they were tougher. They played more games too and especially in South America they flew, and travelled to remote locations by bus and also sometimes they even WALKED to games ! They were tougher than, and I don't believe there's any proof that the 2023 Benfica would be better than the 62 Benfica. Eusebio was incredible - the panther, the greatest European footballer of his day. Games also in those days are just as fast as today. Actually back then, there were not as many interruptions like VAR and so on. And they played a 3rd game to decide 2 legged ties. So, in my view I would say that the older teams are just as good and perhaps even better. If you took the 62 Benfica and gave them the same training facilities as the 2023 Benfica, the 62 guys would be better..if you take the 2023 Benfica and put them into 62, without all the high tech sports science and training facilities, they would not be as good.
