I bought this boat and trailer for 200$. I thought the boat was 100% but it turns out we got a problem inside it. Y’all stick around and find out how im going to fix it!! Make sure to Sub nd Like!! 👍🏼

I just got the same kinda boat with the same kinda problem. The previous owner had it outside for 2 years filled completely with rain water. This thing is now a heavy beast that you can't load or unload by yourself. Do yourself a favor and put in a scupper plug so you can easily drain it out if it get rained on.

If I had a dollar for every time you said “you guys” I could buy your boat. However, on a serious note I’d suggest you fill both halves with water to find leaks. Fix them before reassembly. Make another video once it’s done.

What I don't understand is, why would you do thattt😱??? If it isn't leaking, and the only problem is water in the pontoons, why didnt you tip it up and let out the water??? That boat just needed cleaned up, not taken apart!! Wow!!!😫

Well u see, the foam was saturated very very deep. The water wasnt coming out of that foam. They were super heavy. The sun eventually helped with drying some.

I started to view your video because you picked a good topic, especially as many Bass Raider 10e owners are confronted with the mystery of why so much water ends up between the upper and lower halves of the hull. But, PLEASE edit and remove the superfluous parts of your videos e.g. comments about the weather, your cat, your topper etc. I stopped watching the video after 2.5 minutes for that reason.

@@savagestrikefishing4695 Thanks, and I look forward to a follow up video. I would be interested to know how it turned out and if you used some type of gasket sealer on the hull "lips" before mating them. I have a drill powered pump that has hose fittings and periodically pump out large volumes of water. I still have no idea how the water gets in. Pelican company has not been helpful.

Thanks! Love my cat. You never know what u got, but if in case you have the same problem i did, im sure there’s probably better/simpler ways to go about it. This is just simply what my head threw together. Follow up video coming reeeeal soon!

I have the 8’ and want to drill out the rivets, pull it apart so I can put marine grade silicone around the edges and bolt it back together.

I hear you 100%!! Unfortunately i went with the screws. Not the best decision but it did the job. Right after i put the screws in, i thought of rivets. Call it a massive brain fart if you will. Trust me im kickin myself for it. Its done and ready to try out. Video will be out soon of that! Appreciate the support! Fish On!!

Mine was put together originally with big staples and some sort of glue. I dont have that on video unfortunately but look into the seam and im sure you will figure it out.

I would use pool noodles . They don't absorb water .

So i used self tapping screws. It definitely was NOT the best choice. It did work but now theres sharp screws sticking out underneath. Luckily i left enough space in between screws to try something different. Im going to do rivets instead. Should work perfectly.
