The ever evolving Pelican. I keep doing things to "upgrade" mine as well. They're fun little boats that give you something to keep busy, but they're a blast on the water. Good job Vance.

I like your redesign. I have two fishing kayaks and a Bass Raider boat. I made a four pole holder out of a milk crate and PVC pipe. I strap it down in the kayaks but just set it in front of me when I am in the "raider." It seems to be steady without strapping it down. i may put a five lb weight from a weight bench in the bottom of the milk crate to anchor it down better. So far it has worked good without it. I enjoy your vids and your mods. Tight lines to everyone.

Sounds like you have some nice setups Gary. I appreciate you watching and taking the time to comment. I have to ask, which do you like better, the Raider or the fishing kayaks? Does it depend on where you are fishing? Thanks again.

Yes, if the wind is blowing hard, it is easier to motor the Raider around with the trolling motor. Also, I fish in my neighbors lake, which is pretty big for private water. It is easier to get the kayaks in there. My son and I bought two kayaks this summer that are pedal driven. I have got to get my legs strengthen up to peddle that very far. I have gotten out in that one once this fall. Seems like mowing grass takes up more time when I need to be fishing. My son lives in Coffeyville, KS and I live in NE Oklahoma. I do have several bigger lakes I go too with the kayaks or the Raider. @@fishingwithvance

I like the new design. I am interested in your thoughts after you have used it for a season. The bracket model always seems like it moves back and forth better because it is in the rail. I understand how the bracket itself gets in the way. I think this new one is an improvement. I'm sure you'll keep us updated. Have you seen the Alex (RF) video where he give you props for being the TUBE expert. 👍 I immediately thought "Mustard Sally" Lol. Great mod!!! Fish on!!!

Thanks DT. Not sure how I will like this one. My son wants it already though since I made it higher. I'll give it a few trips to the lakes and see how it compares. I wanted to make something anyone could make without the bracket. Fail on the weight though. I must have missed AI and the props on Tubes. I will go get caught up now. Thanks for watching. Looks solid I'll definitely be looking for your review on it after you use it. ❓ Is it enough space on the corners to round them off without taking away strength of the table?

Good question Jett. Not sure about that one. I would think it needs corners since all pressure and weight is on that side. Honestly not sure. I will do a review on it once I give it a try. My tall son Catter is already eyeing it up for his Pelican so It will likely end up on his rig. With him being tall, it appeals to him. I'll give it a shot first though. Thanks for watching. Fish on!
