Props dubs for trying to explain a day in the Shu,I’ve done Chokeys(solitary) in British pens and I know every second is a minute,a minute is an hour and hours turn into days. We don’t have TVs in the chokey we are only allowed library books and 28 days is the max stay. But they get around that by ghosting to another chokey in another pen. Keep your head up and keep dropping that knowledge Perro.

I did my time only about 9 months I did in the shoe and it sucked. What is scary is when it became normal. Now I’m a family man and just love taking care my son and family. I think that respect and cordiality between the inmates in the SHU is what keeps many of them sane. Once someone lets go of all respect, humility, and human decency, they're driven insane and don't come back.
So most people act like "normal" educated respectful individuals during SHU time? I'd think either the prison or inmate would capitalize on that. Good video Dubs

sounds about the same as any 23/1 lock up ive been at other then the respect levels and i can see how and why RESPECT would be a BIG thing in the BAY , hell it should be EVERYWHERE inside or out but 1st people need to learn respect themselves in order to respect another because lot think its something you can force out of someone but thats not respect thats fear and when you try to force respect out a man that respects themselves you have WAR
😂🤣. I know the feeling when I was locked up. People would always ask the same questions. What’s the food like? What have I been doing 😂. Locked in my cell for 23 hours then have a shower a few laps in the exercise yard. Then talk 💩with my pad mate after lock up😂.
I have a friend/co worker (she’s a girl) who writes to dudes in prison. I’m always telling her not to send money but she always does 😂 She’s into them gangstas
My bro was there during the time you were there...To this day he really hates being in a quiet room with no one home. Says it takes him back to the bay 😞

Wow! Great story man. How do the guys “plot”? With kites and at yard? Do they plot on schemes they might do after they get out? And go over situations like in the movie HEAT? For instance, “what are we doing in this situation if we get boxed in on the street?”
