This Pelican Case will be a camping kitchen one day. Gotta start at the start...
In video 'Pelican Case Restoration - Camp Kitchen Beginning' I share the first step in turning this 1600 pelican box into something awesome. First off, it needs a latch, an O-ring, a good clean up, and some extra grip.

Pelican cases are da bomb! I once saw a camera man drop a pelican case with a tv camera in it off a boat. We circled back and grabbed it and not a drop of moisture got in. Not many days left til you'll be able to get out and about mate - can't wait to see some Out there videos

Heya Mick! They seem bloody solid, and it makes you feel like a special forces soldier carrying them around too. Great story about the camera, I'm sure it wasn't fun at the time for the camera bloke though. Countdown has begun!

@@mickcarter9468 Whilst we are at 70% vacc and not able to go regional - It'll be in to the Dandenongs or Yarra Valley, maybe the corners of the Bunyip State Forest - this is nice and close for us. Come 80% I'm looking forward to trips into the high country - I cancelled several due to lockdowns. Also want to explore south-east Gippsland. There's going to be an adjustment period (for growing the channel outside lockdowns) where I work out how I balance family time, filming trips, and trips that do both (whether day trips or camping). I'm a bit scared that every 10x10m patch of dirt in Victoria is going to have a camper or caravan on it, so we may need to be strategic if we wanna avoid crowds. What have you got in mind for getting out and about? Cheers

Hi Fiona, I'm so thrilled you have found the the channel😬. I love seeing multiple videos getting comments from the same person in quick succession. Thanks heaps for the encouragement. My water spray bottle leaked and caused some mould, but apart from that the pelican case has been a good idea! The citrus oil stuff worked well here but will think of eucalyptus in the future. Welcome aboard!

Hi Daniel, I saw that was in their terms and conditions however my from experience was they replaced the latches without any questions, and were willing to replace the wheel assembly on the larger case too. I believe its better for the brand, to ensure people spread the word (like this video) and ensure I'll choose pelican again. Thanks for watching!
