Glad you're not badly injured mate! Must have been the excitement of being in the lead! Let me know if you're doing anything in jan/Feb time as I'm looking for a couple of races around then 👍
One Man Ultra thanks Sam, I did trap a nerve in my shoulder and had pins and needles in my hand, but one of my club member conducted a Vulcan grip and made my knees buckle, but FairPlay she released it 😫
@@NelsonVanDweller no more slippery than any other trail to be honest, just go easier on the downhill stretch where its grassy, that will be the only areas of concern but it should be ok 👍
@@gingeral By any chance do you have a route map for this route you did? Im going for a second attempt tomorrow as the route I took was Not ideal in winter months lol
Well this one has a mandatory kit list because it heads over the Brecon Beacons, where the weather can change with little notice, if it was a normal road half marathon none of this would be carried or required - thanks for the question though it was worth the ask 👍
@@gingeral Ok and thanks for the super quick reply ! I guess we're all different; I like to travel light and rarely use my pack. On my typical 30 kms sunday trail runs i stuff a soft flask a couple of gels and a waterproof jacket in my shorts. Wearing a pack makes me feel like i'm going on a 10 hours long trek
