@@Ryan-bi5mz I'm absolutely stunned. *That actually happened!?* This left me utterly speechless for a moment... (I had to fact-check this "Thin Blue Line" detail to be sure you weren't embellishing.) *Did they ever find the Trump supporter who did that?* I just read an article that the FBI was looking for him, but it was from last year.
Seeing the things Donnie does and gets away with makes me think that American laws are more guidelines than something that you actually get held accountable for breaking. Not a good look for you, America.
Nothing we do here is a good look for us. There are a few of us who are aware of that (believe it or not). We have a two-tiered justice system. The laws are serious and harsh for most of us, but for the wealthy and privileged they're more like guidelines, you're exactly right.
I LOVE the protesting fourth graders!! That's awesome the school is allowing them peaceful social protest and arbitration. That will definitely encourage them to be good citizens active in their community.
@@phriedokra6158 unsettling... on a lighter note, little kids all can drive by the time they are 6, since they've all had little cars, which might be why teenagers aren't as excited about driving as I remember being.
Remember when some kids protested because they did'nt want to be gunned down in school? Nothing happened there but when the chocolate milk is on the topic? America.
If I had a dollar for every time in the last 5 years I've said "If anybody else did that they'd be in jail" I'd have more money than Trump.....even if I had a penny.
“Can you imagine how pathetic you must be to get pleasure watching that?” Referring to the Jan. 6th riot. Jimmy you’re right, but pathetic isn’t the best word, try psychopathic or sociopathic or both.
But the Bible says that in the end of days, Jesus was summoned from the Heaven throne to the HEAVEN realm to be disciplined by GOD. And Satan went to hide behind one of the GOD realm thrones and shape shifted into a little kid and was happy and in awe that Jesus was in trouble and getting beat.
I'm surprised that president isn't a protected title in the USA like doctor. Trump being refered to as president rather than ex-president seems like a weird entitlement to retain after leaving office.
It's mainly those at Fox News who suck up to Trump by calling him President + if they didn't he would probably cry. I know his supporters do as well but that's only because they spent alot of money on baseball caps, t.shirts, banners & flags etc with his name on and don't want to admit it's a waste of money.
Why does it take Jimmy Kimmel to read us the law so we can understand what Trump has violated and not our President? When the law so clearly states the rule that Trump broke, then isn't it the fault of the Justice Department for not enforcing our laws?
COMPLETELY AGREE!!! Nor is THIS law by ANY means the first to be CLEARLY VIOLATED!!! What does it TAKE to call a crook and a traitor A CROOK AND A TRAITOR?!!! WHAT DOES IT TAKE?!!!
Pro-tip: So-called "comedians" like Jimmy Kimmel often bend the truth if it'll get applause and laughter from their adoring audience. It's best not to take anything they say seriously. If there was anything to this accusation, Pencil Neck Schiff and Nutsty Pelosi would have been all over it months ago. Instead, they're still trying to fabricate evidence to impeach President Trump again because they literally have nothing on him. He is the most investigated and vetted politician in the history of the United States, and still they've got nothing.
Dear Gabriel Bicker -- The "Darren Z" who has replied to your comment is clearly a complete idiot -- and likely quite a scoundrel to boot. Your point is ENTIRELY WELL-taken, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!!
You have to hold Dems accountable as well and many have broken the law. Dems used their own software t count ballots in one state for a senate seat and were caught but other Dems. Hillary has people missing that were connected to her. Biden has accepted money from foreign countries while in a position of power. Pelosi has people who are confirmed Chinese spies like many California Dems. Cory Booker helped guide illegals into the US. Omar funneled campaign funds to her Significant Other. Obama commuted many War Crimes. Neither Party is innocent
3:37 We knew years ago that he was tearing up official documents; how come nobody was preventing this? DEFINITELY prosecute the polycriminal to obviate a 2024 his running again for the presidency!
What wheels of justice? If they existed he would have been in jail by now. He very clearly tried to tamper with the election and tried to get voting machines seized, both of which he should be jailed for and yet...
Yeah, and they went there and were stopped by the fence, UNTIL, Mr. EPPS and some other guy made sure they got through the fence, and they weren't charged with a thing!
So I am guessing that the party of law and order will now say that Trump definitely cannot run for office. Right? How could they possibly justify that?
No, no. They’re doubling down and saying there was no insurrection by calling it a “legitimate political discourse.” They won’t admit their leader was wrong until either he goes to jail or they’re voted out. And maybe not even then.
SUSAN COLLINS .. WHO FIRST VOTED TO IMOEACH TRUMP. THE FIRST TIME THEN SAID " HE LEARNED HIS LESSON " NOW SAYS IF TRUMP IS ELECTED THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE SHES ALL IN TO VOTE FOR HIM ." THIS ISCTHE REPUBLICAN PARTY. IT WILL NEVER CHANGE
After googling I was actually shocked to discover that Greg Kelly and his show is an actual thing. I thought it was a parody skit for "Jimmy Kimmel Live". Wow ehm I mean: Ouch!
That was the most precious thing I have ever seen. Those kids are exercising their right to protest and it's a great lesson why it's so vital to protect our democracy and uphold the constitution and keep it out of the hands of fascists like Donald Trump and his enablers.
In my opinion (which doesn't mean much), it's really not. All this is teaching them is they have to fight for even the smallest concession from an authority figure or organization. They have to go this far for just some chocolate milk? It's similar to those fighting for a living wage. That shouldn't even be a fight. The goal post is so far back that the drive for real change looks like it's decades long when it's actually not. High pay for classroom teachers. High funding for educational tools, infrastructure and real opportunities. A higher education system that doesn't put its students into crippling debt for a large chunk of their adult lives. These are just some of the things that look too overwhelming to achieve because we're indoctrinated into this system of fighting for the scraps so that we don't have the energy or will to fight (peacefully) at the level that really makes those in positions of power really listen. I'm sure that's not the intent with this school. They don't know any better. They were taught this is the way too. Which is exactly the level of democracy that is generally accepted at higher levels with higher stakes. Something that resembles democracy but isn't.
@@kayladonnrichardson7384 That's not the way it works. That allows the opposing side to add a near infinite amount of yards between you and the goal. For example; no chocolate milk --> protest --> 1 chocolate milk every 2 weeks --> protest --> 1 chocolate milk 3 times per month --> protest --> 2 chocolate milks the first week of every month and 2 chocolate milks spread throughout the rest of the month --> protest --> add a bonus chocolate during major holidays... and so on. This is a simplified scenario of what has generally been happening on much higher scales. It's an illusion of compromise and the democratic process. It also conditions reasonable people to forgo most hope of success or even the thought of demanding something truly revolutionary. Instead we settle for something like trickle down economics like we did 40 years ago just to find out it doesn't work and was likely never intended to. That we made a mistake of accepting that compromise that took decades for a sizeable amount of the population to realize we shouldn't have stopped pushing and not allowing the goal post to shift backwards. Now it's 40 years of chocolate milk debates we have to make up for and seeing that goal post move miles away from where we had it back then.

This venue is supposed to symbolize even an abandoned coal power plant can be “green” in some way. I guess you can always interpret it in whatever way that pleases you.
@@johnpond3342 wait, was it a coal plant or a nuclear plant? Could've sworn cooling towers go with nuclear power plants, and smoke stacks go with coal power plants.
@@abbycross90210 Cooling towers are used anywhere you need to cool large amounts of water. The shape allows them to cool large amounts water by using natural air flow going in the bottom and out the top. The are called draft cooling tower.
The Democratic Party needs more passionate people like Louis Virtel and those fourth graders to get certain bills such as the Voter’s Rights Act and BBB to pass through Congress.
Re: Trump's documents. I have worked in law offices, and it was forbidden and unthinkable to remove a file from the office. How much more serious is it to remove files from the White House?
I think it’s funny that 90 year old Trump-Dump and alleged billionaire, wears the same suit and tie nearly every day. AND he still doesn’t know how to wear either 🤦♂️
I love it when minority comedians make fun of their own communities. It opens a window into those communities and makes us laugh with them. Virtel was hilarious.
Not in defense but for perspective. There is a real difference between the extermination that happened within the camps and the camps themselves. What is happening there has not risen to the degree of a holocaust whatsoever. But I imagine you are a bot because any actual human adult would have known that.
As Louis’s cousin, I can confirm that he HAS always been around (at least since 1986, anyway). And he’s always been hilarious! He’s the reason I’m not afraid of the velociraptors in Jurassic Park because he made the kitchen scene funny with his own narration. He was 11 then.
Jimmy’s jokes are miles ahead of even Fallon’s. These writers are good, but it’s the deliverer. Kimmel’s timing & tone are the closest we’re ever gonna get to the old Jon Stewart.
This whole monologue was hysterical, you are so funny Jimmy. naked trump and his flying chicken, hysterical. That Virtel Oscar spiel was hysterical. Especially Cher and her headdress, I love Cher. The children and their chocolate milk protest was a protest I could get behind. You will change the world for the better one day kids, so proud of you all.
