Yea, i always add a dark color in the background before i do the details, etc. I think every artist does this.

Actually that's just blocking black graphite in the background...the editing is good alright....so good the skipped the drawing part ...I'm surprised that you're impressed by editing.... Editing out really.

This is one of the best recommendations from RU-vid for the last 1year. My guy, your content is just amazing. Your website left me speechless. You are one of the most talented individuals I have ever seen. From along time ago, I have always loved drawing with only three colors; black, white and grey :) The pressure from the world around screams for a lot of colors. But today I see differently. Roses are red, but mine are grey, Just mix black and white, and make your way, I suck at this, not like the art of Jono Dry.

Please do. I've noticed when I was drawing all of my cares and concerns ceased to exist the whole time I was drawing. I only focused on getting the details right on what I was drawing. It was a stress free experience. That and my love of it is what's drawing me back.

That's just so incomprehensible to me. How that gets out of your head, through your hands and the medium and onto the canvas. My aunt who's now deceased was a fairly accomplished watercolor artist. Family issues, my Dad and her basically split up, only my brother and I were at her funeral. I still try to find paintings by her for sale on the Internet. Don't know where they all went, but I found a very small drawing of hers finally last year. Anyway, that's just nuts what you did. Really super duper. Thanks.
