Here is an Oldie Goldie! An early Saxon Region Violin circa 1850. This one has the lion head but it's not one of the many poorly built trade violins sold through Sears and Roebuck. This one is a nice old handmade one. Grafted Scroll, Scale length is 328mm. Tones are absolutely incredible. Very Rich, Sweet texture PURE tone. I love it. Set up perfectly. Will mic and record well.
