Just saw Season 3 and it is a winner! The chemistry between Penn and Victoria is off the charts and not just in the intimate scenes but in every situation. It breaks new ground in so many ways. Viewers must see all the seasons because previous plots and characters keep popping up or are being referenced but I think Season 3 is the best because it is so rich in possibilities that keep you guessing every step of the way.
Absolutely! You is a rare show, because it actually has improved with each season. Looking back, season 1 started it all but definitely is my least favorite probably due to Beck as a character and her being sooooo boring (although I know that was part of the point, in the way Joe romanticized such an average woman.) Then s2, and the Love character just brought such a different, magnetic energy before we even found out who she really was and then s3 is a perfect continuation of the s2 events, on top of the pacing and chemistry between Victoria and Penn. Whew, it’s been a pleasure to watch a show evolve into something great so effortlessly.
I love hearing him speak. He is so intelligent (and not in the typical obnoxious manner most present). AND Victoria....where do I begin? I loved her in the haunting of hill house series and the haunting of bly manor series. Seeing her in this series makes me love her even more!
Love was unhinged and had zero chill, but I think it was a mistake to kill off a character who made the show even better. It was her spur of the moment violence that kept me on the edge of my seat whenever she noticed Joe paying attention to anyone but her.
@@GutterFlower-t2u Yea, i hated that they both cheated. They were killers but I thought there would be development on being faithful side. Im sure Love is on s4
Love was a really great character. Definitely one of the best woman serial killers of all time. I know everyone wanted to focus on Love’s impulsiveness, but Joe killing Marianne’s ex was very impulsive too. Impulsiveness is one of Joe’s characteristics. He saw that characteristic in Love and that why he fell in love with her. But Joe is also methodical, calculating and one step ahead of everyone. Love could be methodical, but she wasn’t as calculated or as smart as Joe and that’s why she lost in the end. The show is always good when Joe goes up against other serial killers. That’s what terrified everyone the most about the show this year. I just hope in season 4 he gets Into with a bad bitch serial killer who is every bit as calculating and intelligent as he is. I want to see him go against someone who plays the cat and mouse game just as good as he does. A worthy adversary.
Eh well even Joe killing Matthew wasn’t impulsive he calculated twice first with the relapse he tried then after work but Matthew just outsmarted him then still killing him after was impulsive I guess u could say but love is generally more impulsive and more reactive than anything which is fine to me they was a great team and I love their chemistry that’s the closest thing joe was gone have to a perfect relationship but if he couldn’t make that work nothing will ever satisfy him because Love was his literal other half and I wish on the scene where she died that they would’ve shown some type of emotion towards each other like their final goodbyes but I could also understand why he wouldn’t just to hammer home the fact of how psychopathic he is
It's not that Love wasn't smart, but she slowly became more unstable as the season went on because unlike Joe, she still wanted to make the marriage work. She was still in love with him and she was doing everything in her power not to lose him. She said it herself "you gaslit me so hard I started to question every single thing about myself".
@@KKOOLSKOOL Joe isn't that calculating though. Forty and Delilah figured out he was a killer in just a few hours. He buried Candace alive without realizing it. The diference between him and Love was that Joe was able to stay calm after killing someone and come up with a decent plan.
season 3 was amazing, these 2 are 2 of the finest actors out there and they play well off each other and they are so nice offscreen. In some ways it's sad that we don't know if Victoria will be back for season 4 since she apparently dies at the end of season 3.
@@chilichinashop missing white girl syndrome, white privilege, anti vax bs and they fkin killed the guy. Like are you kidding me. Can’t watch a single thing anymore without liberal bs being shoved down your throat. The entire show from episode 2 was just filled with this toxic crap
@@philmickelsonscalves7585 I mean, those are things that are prevalent in North American society, I don’t know what to tell you 😭 the anti vaxx guy was literally the reason Love’s child was hospitalized and put in critical danger, no wonder she attacked him. White privilege and “Missing White Woman Syndrome” are noticeably real things, you just have to put down your pride to realize it. Talking about day to day social issues isn’t “liberal propaganda”, and I’d also argue that neither is understanding the issues others different than you face. it’s just being a decent human thing.
@@chilichinashop lololol “no wonder she attacked him” just stop talking your obviously a deranged lib eral and nothing positive will come from further messaging. You guys claim to be open minded and empathetic 😂😂😂
He’s actually less charismatic as Joe as Joe would never start off trying to Correct a black women when she said nothing wrong smh! Or try to re interpret what his co star is saying. It’s giving real life narcissism or sexist 🤣
@@chrisjohn1688 she did mess up a bit no biggie, season 3 wasnt out yet. Interview two weeks ago. Im black and didnt see it in this way, lets not make it that brotha. As for the narcissism, that what he did wouldnt be enough to confirm im he’s a narc, not even a big ego.
I’m kinda mad that they didn’t explore more of joe being jealous over the affair with love and theo. He was jealous for one scene and then after he got Into the Librarian he completely stopped caring.. i don’t know just didn’t sit right with me. Also if season 4 is all about him chancing the librarian and her kid around Paris, I probably won’t watch it. I just really could never get into that part of season 3. No one can really replace love
yeah the marianne is pretty boring to me. also it only so many times that tgey can do the whole “joe chases after a girl but he something foes wrong and he kills them” trope
Yesss I’ve been saying this and nobody has agreed with me yet. I get that he fell out of love and stopped caring or whatever but I feel like if he got jealous for a couple of episodes it would’ve been great and in character for joe. I wish they would’ve made this season longer because I really like love and their storyline. Without her the show is just going to be repetitive
You really don’t get the show at all if you feel this way. Joe obsesses over things. That’s part of him being psycho. He didn’t care about love anymore. He literally said it.
ahh i’m so sad my fav 3 characters are all gone now, i really hope there’s some interesting new cast members in s4 because ellie, love and delilah being gone is making me upset
She actually didn't died..Joe just left her paralyzed and burnt up the entire house..I feel some gut wrenching twist is goofing up the way to season 4 .where love will rise up to life and this time the title YOU will be onto Joe set by Love fuming in revenge..and marriane still will be the side one and can't be accessible by joe
@@sss-xc6nu She's definitely dead. Joe gave overdose to love. İf not, then why joe gave baby to these 2 guys? And why he wrote a note as someone writes when she dies
He remembers all of his dead partners in different ways when he used to remember canndanc like a old good memories that are meaningless now, beck with a certain guilt and was glad to get away from love
Season three was so darned subversive. I loved it! Joe and Love moved throughout suburbia with their adorable baby in tow looking so darned cute, All-American, wholesome and NORMAL. Yet they'd ruthlessly murder someone then fight about how to dispose of the body. Finally, irritation with their situation and each other would cause them to turn their violent tendancies on each other. It was sick and funny all at once. And the pretentuous and self-involved young suburbanites they were surrounded by were such horrors, that you kinda rooted for Joe and Love to off them.
It's crazy because knowing that Victoria doesn't actually have a child and Penn does. I can definitely see the real connection to Joe's fatherhood experience. It does seem that there is true love (that he doesn't understand) and connection with his baby because Penn can truly understand those fears that parents have, yet Victoria doesn't have a child, and in the show as love you can feel that she's not truly attached to parenthood and it shows in a lot of her actions in the show
It does, but I think it's because she's actually is a kind, empathetic person who doesn't mask her intense psychotic emotions when she plays as love. She definitely has to change her tone for the role she plays as well as her mannerisms to make it more believable
Victoria, what dO yOu MeAn is not Love's show? You stole it completely (sorry Penn I love you but comeeeeee oooonnn) **spoiler alert** . . . Honestly what is going to be of season 4 without heeeer???
I’ve always found big ears are an unconventionally attractive addition to a person. That may sound weird, but a lot of conventionally attractive people have large years
I’m sorry but this whole skin color thing needs to left out of film and tv. Especially how white men get their way and black ppl don’t. Just heard marrianne talk about it to joe about her ex husband. We all bleed the same. If anything it’s the women who usually come out on top with custody battles. This woke shit is starting to get old. Shit let’s be real it’s been old for awhile but Hollywood knows best right??
"Woke shit" 🚩🚩🚩🚩 women always come out on top of custody battles? 1, Big lie. Marienne had 3 strikes against her: BLACK & FORMER ADDICT & Not Ricj, while her husband was local beloved celebrity & WHITE MAN with MONEY. 2. Why do you think that is? Maybe because society has relegated women to the role of default carer and men (insert yourself) can rarely be bothered to participate with child rearing. Finally, we do not ALL bleed the SAME. Take that libertarian shit somewhere else.
Thanks, Zuri! Thanks, Victoria! Thanks, Penn! 🩸 I'm a recent convert to YOU... and binged all 3 seasons in a few days (finishing last night). I'm *very* hyped for the 4th season, which I read has already been greenlit!
