Guys can you please help my wife see her dad before he dies .He has testicular cancer and his body is failing him . He is in hospital now and my wifes aunty told my wife lastnight to expect the worst. My wife wasnt there to see her mother before she died . Thank you ,thank you. Just got my Penn out after 30 yrs, not good. Getting back into fishing around the Chanel Islands off the California coast. My Penn needs a good tune up. Then it will be in pristine condition thanks to you. Keep up the good work.

Good video Earl! I've got a reel tucked away that looks similar - I'm not sure if it is a Penn or not, but I've had it over 40 years and it never gets used. This will be a great help if I ever decide to get it out & give it a service! Tight Lines!

another thing, your spool tensioner i have it so there is the slightest bit of play in the spool helps get more distance.

Nice video, but you’re free spool lever needs to be turned around. You run a chance of hitting free spool lever the way you have it facing, just FYI. Nice tutorial!

i always use wd40 after every trip and remove the brakes.

I just rinse under the tap to wash all the sand and salt off , then i undo the star drag all they way off . But i do like taking reels apart and cleaning off all the old grease and putting new grease .
