It takes a lot of heart to drop the first match at NCAAs and then win 7 in a row. Well done!

Incredible achievement. He wrestled 8 matches in 48 hours going 7-1 against the best wrestlers in college. He will be in the mix for a NC the next 3 years.

@zaynes5094 Месяц назад
Not likely since he'd have to beat out Shayne Van Ness and THAT is very unlikely to see happen. I could see Shayne winning 3 straight championships before seeing Kasak at the top.

Very unlikely he beats Shayne? Kasak is only 18 he’s improving so rapidly wouldn’t surprise me one bit if he beat out Bartlett or Shayne in a wrestle off. Also wouldn’t surprise me if Bartlett and Kasak or Shayne or some combo of 2 of the 3 spend the off season to bump down 6 or 8 pounds

Penn states 2nd team could have won this tournament. What a stacked wrestling room. Kasak in my opinion was top 5 performance of the whole tournament. What a stud to run the table…

You made me a fan Tyler After watching every wrestlers performance this weekend. Tyler got my vote for the top preformance of the weekend. Drop a tough match to a much higher seed in your first match as a freshman could have been devastating. But battling back to win 7 matches to win 3rd is outstanding.

Great kid with his head on straight. When you see so many that quit once they took that first loss, it’s a testament to his will. Packed wrestling room next year. Imagine at the lighter weights, you have Braeden who won’t be at 125, you have Lillendahl coming in, Nagao, Kasak, Beau, Evans and SVN. Let’s assume Levi and Mitchell swap weight classes, you have Sealey coming in, Rider, Star, Cochran, Barr, Facundo, Mirasola’s and Kerk coming back.
