Drop a tough match to a much higher seed in your first match as a freshman could have been devastating. But battling back to win 7 matches to win 3rd is outstanding.

Great kid with his head on straight. When you see so many that quit once they took that first loss, it’s a testament to his will. Packed wrestling room next year. Imagine at the lighter weights, you have Braeden who won’t be at 125, you have Lillendahl coming in, Nagao, Kasak, Beau, Evans and SVN. Let’s assume Levi and Mitchell swap weight classes, you have Sealey coming in, Rider, Star, Cochran, Barr, Facundo, Mirasola’s and Kerk coming back.
