@@GycklarenArkadia "almost". I'd be happier to hear this than to fool them. Penn & Teller are in the same level of importance as Houdini and David Copperfield, this is huge!
The fact that the only reason they knew how the trick was done, was because they had already bought the trick from you, it just a massive compliment. They loved the trick so much, that they wanted to use it them selves.
The thing i love with this trick is that it's not even a trick. It's just a guy telling a tale where he founds very STRANGE coincidences. And we feel that the performance is more about the story and the entertainment than showing a trick. Very good act !
Yeah, I sometimes think that story is the main part of the performance. The effect in itself enhance the story and not the other way around. Thank you so much for you nice words!
Not really I am still looking how it's done and everything cause he is a magician and they try to make people pay less attention to what they are doing but to something else like a story.
@@lolicongang.4974 technology. The box has an engraver built in and when he writes “red bandit” on the poster, which is a smart pad. Then that’s what the machine engraves on the pistol before he takes it out.
That “gotcha!” after the fingerprint bit was gold. Excellent work, and what a great sport! Hope this performance helps take you as far as your talent deserves!
A beautiful and entertaining trick. I was completely baffled, even after replaying it - rather, especially so, when the simple explanations were ruled out. Penn and Teller's comments are high praise!
What an entertaining act! This guy is awesome! The fact that P & T already knew your work and wanted to use it in their act, speaks volumes about who you are.
This was so entertaining! I loved this performance very much. There were no stupid cheesy jokes, or a lot of the ways majority of magicians tend to talk to the audience in a sort of condescending way. I think his performance alone made this so entertaining. I loved that it was a tale also, very interesting and ingenuitive approach.
I’ve seen many many episodes of fool us, and I believe there’s only one or two acts that I would put before this one. It’s not just the magic, it’s not just the background or the hats or the story or the comedy. It’s is literally off of that so perfectly put together that just makes for an absolutely brilliant performance.
Thank you SO much! That is high praise indeed. Storytelling is not for everyone but the ones who get it... I am happy you're one of them. Thanks again!
@@GycklarenArkadia exactly. Anyone can go on stage and perform a trick or two, and it’ll only take 2-4 minutes. Some people may not know how’s it’s done but that’s it. But to take a few tricks and turn them into an 8 minute performance where everyone is laughing, everyone is engaged and following along, it’s art. That’s why people remember and that’s what people want to see again.
@@joshuahatley2590 Once again, thanks and thanks again. And I agree. I like a story to the tricks and my shows usually have that element in them. Sometimes more, sometimes less. But always a story.
Amazing trick! Loved the pirate theme. I wish you all the best not just in your career but life in general. It was so sad to see you in the hospital. I hope you remain healthy and have a wholesome and happy life. Cheers and love from India 🇮🇳❤
Thanks man! We hoped for a reaction like that. Magic on RU-vid can be seen over and over again, which isn't necessarily the best for the secrets. But if you look at it for the first time, we hope that it is a surprising effect.
Loved every moment of this. Even tho he didn't fool penn and teller he still did amazing , fun and interesting magic trick that kept me entertained all the time.
This is a great example of how it's not just the trick or illusion, but the story and storytelling that goes along with it. And for all of us watching, we're wondering at every moment which part is storytelling and which part is covering your nefarious actions. :) Thanks for sharing your skills with us!
Excellent trick and the theatre/narrative behind the trick is excellent and very interactive. It's really well played and you were very well prepared. To have P&T basically say ''we know your work'' is probably the biggest compliment ever coming from legends like them. Grattis!
Thank you so much. I did prepare a lot of course. Rehearsals for hours every day, not only getting the trick and the story right. Also getting the language just as I wanted it. On the whole I am happy with the result, and really glad you liked it. Thanks for letting me know.
I knew the fingerprint joke was coming the moment you had her touch the pistol, but it was still hilarious. I've seen enough of these that I expected the trick would be getting her name onto the gun, but unlike Penn and Teller, I don't know exactly how you pulled it off. I think I have a pretty good guess, though, it just requires a much smaller gimmick than I thought existed yet.
The presentation was phenomenal. Absolutely beautiful and original. Hats off. And the name of the weapon? I can only code to not offend the magician, for example, "I wear a medallion around my neck." :)
Wow! They themselves have heard of you and your brother AND have even wanted to use your trick. That in itself is better than any physical reward. What a compliment!!!
I really enjoy magic tricks that feel like a performance and run through a narrative, rather than just being a series of effects. Feel like it builds towards a payoff. And unlike Penn and Teller, I have NO IDEA how the engraved name got on the gun.
Thanks! I like a series of well executed magic trick in itself, but if I have to choose, I love a good story with embedded magic. I am biased though. 😜
I really enjoyed the story aspect. It was something often used in older routines that has been forgotten to larger stage routines/ theatrics. (You don't have to entertain when you have a tiger). Penn uses this in their tricks, and when they do, even when it's just a cup and ball routine, those tricks seem to be more captivating. I would love to see you performing more in your element! Great job keep it up👍
I agree! (Of course I do, but still.) The story aspects of a routine is very important, and although you want a good and really strong trick, sometimes a mediocre trick can turn into a miracle with the right presentation. Not saying that my performance is any of the above. Thanks for your input and encouraging words!
@@GycklarenArkadia Being old enough to remember when Movies took one hour to build up to one action packed event, I concure. Very well done Mange tak, jeg ser frem til mere.
Ingen bror under bordet men tack. Vi kommer från en liten by utanför Helsingborg men Andreas bor sedan många år utanför Linköping och jag är fast i Norrland (Sundsvall).
It’s so cool seeing you go to America! I remember when I was a kid and I was so exited to meet you at Medeltidsveckan on Gotland. It really was the highlight of the week! I’m happy you and your brother have become so famous 😁
This post made my day! Thanks for telling me! Famous... well, that is perhaps in the eye of the beholder. Hope to see you in the future, do tell me if we do, and remind me of this post. 👌🙏
I think I know how it is done... or at least I know how I would do it. I think it was very important that you needed to take the time to write a reward at the bottom of the poster. Brilliant and creative act. Bravo sir. Liked and subscribed!
Great trick, really enjoyed the story and presentation. Not fooling them because they had been following your work must be a great honor. I also wanted to compliment you on how you tied your tie! Thanks for sharing this performance.
@@GycklarenArkadia I've just re watched it . And in fact re enjoyedit again. Can't wait to see more tricks from you guys.. Amazing. Oh man. It's amazing Stay safe and healthy, and share more 🤓
The what medallion trick? I’m very interested in learning more about this. Been doing magic for around 10 years and have never seen anything like it. If you’re seeing this, well done man. I loved every single bit of it. So well structured and well put out. You can tell how much went into making this. So awesome
Penn says "Koran Medallion trick". But the one presented in this show is much more convincing in my opinion. The Koran trick looks a bit simplistic and obvious compared to it.
Brothers, I've been on a binge of these and this is so far my favourite. Sorry you didn't get to be part of the vegas show (is that the real prize?) but this was just so well done, and your comedy and comebacks on point. Well done both.
Sorry for not replying earlier. This one must have slipped me. Anyway, thank you so much! I am so glad you liked it. Extra thanks for the "thinking on my feet" - bit. 🙏
There’s only one way this could be done - inside the box was an exceptionally intelligent invisible mouse with a scalpel which scribed her name onto the gun as she said it. Inside the box was a secret compartment to hide the scalpel. Easy!
You're wrong. So wrong. That theory is absurd. No, no. It's a squirell with a silent dremel tool. Everything else is absurd. Mice are way to stupid and not trained to hide things. Squirella on the other hand. On a serious not, thanks for your brilliant comment. Made my day. 👍✨
what a spectacular performance! i genuinely couldn't care less if you fooled them or not - it was just great to watch such an entertaining act! though for what it's worth, you did, absolutely, fool me.
That's so great. I absolutely don't understand, how you did it. I re-watched it and I was sure, that you were scratching in the name in during the performance but no way. That was mindblowing. :D
so...i think i figured it out, but i'm not sure...penn said that he used some kind of verbal trick and i think he tried to suggest the name to her in a subconcious way - he wore red pants and had red hair, penn was wearing a red hat and teller was wearing a bandit hat so i think she was kinda forced into thinking about that exact name
At 4:27 you can see it was already engraved before she pulled the trigger… it would to have been engraved when it came from the box… there may be multiple engraved plates in the box… and a force to narrow down choices
that was a very well performed and prepared act. I do hope you get all the success you deserve. It was entertaining to watch and entertaining to think how did you do it and that's why I think you did great. Cheers man.
I love ❤️ your look (no homo) and your story (I have had major surgeries too). This was so fun to watch. I watched it yesterday but I find myself wanting to relive the fun today! Thanks for sharing your art and magic with us. Very awesome. 👌👍
Magic at its best: Clever routine, great story, wonderful presentation, likable character, humour included, ... Perfect! There is just one thing that I don't get: The Posters of Pen and Teller didn't have a bounty... But he said, that there is a bounty needed for the red bandit. Why couldn't he have bounties for Pen and Teller prepared on the poster? Which part of the trick made this impossible? This was the only really suspicious part for me...
Thanks for your kind and encouraging words! I can't really answer your question, but you're on to something here. Keep thinking about it, but please refrain from writing your conclusions here.
@@GycklarenArkadia definitely that acting might be a bigger compliment than the trophy. The fact that they took the time to research you. That means you're making waves to the right set of eyes
This was the most entertaining show I’ve ever witnessed on this show and of course I am fooled. As you can understand I cant describe the feeling exactly but it felt amazing bro :) It was like a story which feels so warmed and peacefull

Amazing stuff: Magic is a wonderful thing, it is unbelievable what people can come up with to make something real appear so unreal :) Even though magic is based on lying and dishonesty, it is the truest form of art.
