Loved the "Blondie" movies w/Arthur Lake. Always so good!

Read the comics as a kid and Blondie was the favorite out of the bunch. Just started watching the Blondie movies with my wife and I must say they hold up very well to this day. Hopefully our daughters and grand children will have that same reaction.

A great memory. Take a look at her song and dance in Good News (1930). You would never imagine it was the same person.

Hmmm.....She never mentioned Arthur Lake by name. I wonder why?

Arthur Lake was known to arrive on set in film and radio already in character, and he would remain in character all day long. Maybe she remembered Lake primarily as Dagwood because that is how he presented himself to her during their working hours. Her pleasant memories of the series don't seem to indicate a difficult working relationship between them.
