Penny Throws Leonard Under the Bus | The Big Bang Theory

The only episode that really sticks out for Leonard having a spine is the Valentine's Day episode. Leonard : Oh, I'm not; it's about you. Penny : Yeah, well, whatever, okay? I told you Valentine's Day sucks. Leonard : This one does, and you're the reason why.

I know you are right, I feel your pain. but that was their dynamic all along.

Leonard was spinless for the entire show, except for a few episodes, not just after he married Penny. And Penny always acted way kinder to everyone except Leonard, especially she was kinder to Sheldon.

Everyone says that Rachel and Ross are one of the most toxic couples in TV. I think Leonard and Penny are, too...

@@sopyanyusup8851 i think had it been that Leonard was going to have a baby of his own for both of them ( without Penny having to give birth) everyone including penny would hv been supportive because it wasn't that she didn't want Leonard to hv a child, it was that she didn't want Leonard's child to have her ex boyfriend as his father which is pretty weird

Can I recommend something to you that FIXES Penny’s character and she DOESN’T treat Leonard like a piece of SHIT in the last four seasons? As a bonus, Sheldon gets what he ACTUALLY deserves, and it is SO satisfying. You’ll LOVE it.

agree, they started as cute in the first 2 seasons but ended up as insufferable together. they didn't have chemistry and didn't fit with each other as a romantic couple at all.

Agree, zero compatibility. Penny and zack. Leonard and Alex. A lot would say sheldon and penny, but you cannot have a 304 nympho hook up with an asexual.

Oh, absolutely, I hated her Dad for saying that and even if he's better by the end of the ep, it still doesn't make up for it, he was so out of line. In general, I hate how Penny was treated with regards to the pregnancy/kids arc as no one really supported her, not even Leonard. It makes it even worse knowing that she ends up getting pregnant anyway even though she didn't want to have a baby, just because Leonard wanted kids.

I’ll tell you why, because this show was created by Chuck Lorre, a misogynistic, misandristic, sexist, and racist piece of shit. If it had been created by anyone else, I can guarantee you that Leonard and Penny would’ve been like the Chandler and Monica of the show. Personally, I HATED the way their relationship was RUINED in the last four seasons. The first thing they did wrong, was ruining Penny’s character. They turned her into a bitch who treats her husband like shit. She’s a taller less educated version of Bernadette. That’s why she was ruined. I personally HATED most of the characters in the last four seasons. This show should’ve ended after seven or eight seasons. I couldn’t STAND Sheldon anymore. Also, Amy is a C U Next Tuesday, and the show was better without her; she was pathetic (it also doesn’t help that her actress supports genocide). Can I recommend something that fixes the problems the last four seasons had?

@@luisfilipe2023 I know it is but comedy is a genre which revolves around how something's( a movie, TV show or games ) is presented. I'm not denying it's a comedy, I just don't get why the characters seem........off, that's all.

Why can't she be supportive that he wants a baby too ?, anyway, the problem here is that she literally threw him under the bus because she knew her father would support Leonard's decision more.

@@shehabgamal8640 No… the problem is that even IF her dad wasn’t visiting, Leonard was already doing SOMETHING UNRELATED, but the idiot writers had RUINED the characters beyond repair. Chuck Lorre is an idiot; he added TAAHM humor to the last four seasons; Leonard and Penny became Alan and Lyndsey.
