I dont completely understand why we care. Isreal was built following ww2. The geographic space was occupied by a people. Why are we concerned with this. It's on the opposite side of the globe. We just finished two decades of war. Strongly related to this issue. Participation in the creating Isreal hasent been clearly positive at least for us. What are we getting out of this?
@@mychals6645 Iran missiles attacked Israel yes but we also have troops stationed in Israel in some of the areas they were targeting. It is very much our business, and we should respond with lethal force. An attack like that does not go unpunished, otherwise NATO looks weak, and the rest of the world starts thinking it's okay to strike our allies.

America has the biggest (edit: sorry, most powerful) army on the globe and we are all connected through trade and treaty. As spiderman said, when you have the power to act and dont, and then the bad things happen, its your fault. They are currently involved mainly in support and defense. I praise them. If it costs them money and makes them poorer for it both in life and stock, this just makes such actions noble. If we only help ourselves then we are simply self serving. Theres selfishness, self interest, and selflessness. Only the wisest can strike the best balance, ill leave those decisions up to the democratically elected.

I agree but that quote comes from Zechariah 13 and is about when Jesus returns to destroy Israel's enemies and is NOT about the troubles and enemies successes against them BEFORE THAT TIME during the tribulation. Now is before that time and the full tribulation is yet to come. Read Zechariah chapter 13. Darker times are yet to come. In fact it is the Lord himself who sends these troubles on them for their sins. Read Isaiah 27: verses 7-11 for instance.

We aren't in the 7 year tribulation yet, but it is right around the corner, and I mean RIGHT around the corner. We are in the middle of birth pains. And Christ Jesus is opening up the door and ready to walk inside.
