Singer reacts to Pentatonix perform their 90s Dance Medley Arrangement which features all of the popular hit songs from the 90s! Pentatonix does an outstanding job in keeping their music video fun and engaging.
The music video had smooth transitions and effects that helped bring the imagery to life! Although I'm not sure what camera they used to record themselves, I'm sure it was either an iPhone or a Sony. Their editor and color grader did and excellent job with making their faces and outfits look clean and professional.
Some of my favorite tunes from this 90 Dance Medley include "Blue Da-Ba-Dee-Da-Ba-Dye", "Boom Boom", and "Everybody Dance Now". Each song was sung with a unique twist that made the arrangement all the more exciting to listen to.
Overall, I was very pleased with Pentatonix arrangement of their 90s Dance Medley. I'll be looking forward to more jams like this in the near future!

The genius behind their arrangements and editing are Ben Bram and Ed Boyer.

Ben Bram does arrangements in conjunction with the members of PTX. Ed Boyer does their sound mixing. I don't think either one is involved with the video editing process.

As a teen in the 90s, this medley brought back memories of almost every high school and college dance I went to! Best decade ever! 😁

I love watching reactors listen to this for the first time. It's a whole heap of reactions for the price of one! Every new song brings out another smile, as the memories come flooding back. PTX are so tight. In fact, the whole ensemble are, just like you say. Arrangement, recording, lighting, mixing, the whole heap, all top drawer. And to cap it all off, it just makes you feel so good.

Thanks for pointing it out. You're the first reactor I've seen to specifically mention how well the video cuts/slides/etc are timed to the beat. It's always 'just felt right' to me. Now I know a little more about why.

Their stylist is stellar, always fitting the mood of the song AND their individual personalities. I love when they get theatrical like “Making Christmas”, “Radioactive”, “My favorite things”, etc. Really, it’s all good. 🤗

Scott and Mitch made an album called Future Friends in 2017. One of the songs and videos they created for it is Heartthrob. It is all about them being gay teens obsessed with the Tigerbeat heartrobs of the early 90s, in a sleep over setting. It is a lot of fun.

So much fun and nostalgia. Mind blowing isn't it? They all look so damn fine, especially Matt. Him dancing in that blue & black checkered jacket has lived rent free in my head since the premiere. And this is my favorite Kirstin look. Those curls are everything! Another great reaction. You looked like you were having fun. This is my second favorite thing they have done. I have to hand it to Jeffery's review of this outstanding video from PTX. He articulates in correct musical, video and cultural terms what makes PTX's latest 90's video and medley so addicting to watch and listen to. There are some people on RU-vid that have no business attempting to review music videos because they are incapable of any conscious, continuous thinking and speaking.

The most noticeable ones being Blue and Believe. Autotune being used in 90s dance music was such a huge thing that it really wouldn't have come off right if they didn't. They use it for effect, though, and not for pitch correction. Oh and one other thing. Her name is KIRstin, not KRIstin. Great reaction.

Did you know that Pentatonix sing in Japanese too with one of the most famous female vocal groups in Japan? You should check it out "Little Glee Monster feat. Pentatonix - Dear My Friend" There are two versions of it: 1) Official video on Little Glee Monster channel 2) Live recording version on THE FIRST TAKE channel (minus 1 person due to health condition) (don't forget to turn on the subtitles)👌

They released this video completely out of the blue (no pun intended) and nobody really knows where this came from. Is this the leadoff single to an unannounced new covers album? Or is it a promo medley of songs about to appear on a 90s dance music covers album that's gonna feature complete versions of all 17 songs in the medley? I am REALLY anxious to find out. And Kirstie is really channeling J-Lo in this one, both sounds AND looks!! Just an FYI, Kevin's last name is pronounced "Oh-LOOSH-Oh-La". It took me a while to get it right too. And it's Kirstie (rhymes with thirsty) or Kirstin, not Kristin. She actually gets perturbed when people call her the wrong name. The autotune was an intentional tribute to Cher, who was the first artist to use autotune (in Believe) as an artistic expression rather than a correction measure.

@@JeffreyHackReacts it isn't auto-tune, but one thing Avi (the bass of ptx until he left) can do is over tones. He sings 2 pitches at once. Low and high. He has only done it in a few songs. You have to really pay attention to notice it, but it's impressive.
