Michaela Schauer This isn't even Avi's deepest or Mitch's highest. Avi's current deepest is either an Eb1 or an E1 and Mitch's highest is a B7 I think. Compared the this song in which Avi's lowest note is D2 (which for comparison Scott can sing quite loudly and clearly) and Mitch's highest note is an F5 (which Scott can also sing I believe). You should listen to The Baddest Girl for a nice Bb1 from Avi or Natural Disaster (live) for his F#1. For a few of Mitch's highest notes listen to Love Again, I Need Your Love, Evolution of Music or See Through where he hits a clear G5.
itsFlare i don't know anything about the notes with the letters and the numbers and so on but i know all their songs and their real deepest / highest note. :) but still it's incredible how different they are, inspite of both being a guy.
It is incredible indeed. By the way if I was to show you C4 (middle c) it would mean the note C in the 4th octave. The piano reaches the 0th/1st octave at it's lowest. So Avi's E1 is almost at the end of a piano.
there's a video somewhere where an interviewer asks them "who is the best singer in the group" and they all point straight at mitch :) he's so amazing with so little effort
They sing this really slow compared to the studio version. The studio version hauls, though, so I see why they would slow it down. It would be very hard to breathe properly if they went the original tempo.
I actually paused this towards the end, screen shot it, drew it, and was able to give the drawing to Esther at a concert in September to give to the band.. Drew the rest of them too of course but this was the first installment and the inspiration to start drawing again!
I love listening to the live versions of the song. It's such a complex piece and I hear parts live that I don't notice in the album version. I mean Avi, Mitch and Kevin slay this song but Kirsten and Scott's harmonies really come through live.

This just show how powerful Pentatonix is. It 2:21 am and I have been watching all their videos since 9:30 pm. Just got in from work, sick as hell. Can't sleep bcuz of the pain, so I got my PENTATONIX to help me feel better.
+Shane, once again, thank you for your wonderful videos of this concert. I especially love the close ups on Mitch... I've gone through this just to watch his eyes and facial expression. And I marvel between this performance and your posting on June 1, 2015 ... and it's almost inconceivable how much more excitement and passion Mitch is generating in 2015. Thanks again.
