There are a lot of comments asking about the kids, and a lot of negativity. I just want to say that Pentatonix did this performance in the lobby. My child and many of the other children were too sick to come down for this. Following this performance, PTX went to each floor to perform for the children and even took time to visit with the kids. Here's a link to a video of my little girl (fighting cancer and attached to an IV pole) dancing her little heart out thanks to the generosity of these amazing poeple. Pentatonix - Born to be wild! I dont care who you are if you go to a childrens hospital to chear people there up you deserve my respect but they are famous so that´s even cooler ! CONGRATS !!
This was their performance in the lobby. After this they went upstairs and performed in front of the rooms of the kids, like my daughter, who weren't able to leave their rooms. There were some kids down here for this performance, but I didn't get them on the video.
The thing that's really impressive about this performance is that this was right after the Sing Off and I think they had already lost their recording contract by this point...yet they just kept going and going like the Energizer Bunny. Now here they are, millions of album sales and three Grammy awards later! And yet they are STILL just as humble as they were back then, and still have a huge love affair going with their fans. I wish more BIG stars had the attitudes they have.
This performance is so sweet and heartfelt, I can't help but watch it over and over again. But also, Mitch and Scott are like reallyyy sexy in this one
I completely agree!! I had that pleasure to met them week ago and it was one of the best experience of my life. We talked a little, I gave them gifts and then asked Scott for a hug!!!
One of the main reasons I love Pentatonix is no matter when or where they sing the emotion and passion they put in their songs is just incredible. They way they move as well you can just feel how much they love to perform.
I like that in this video, you can see some of their personalities come across, unlike on the sing off where people tell you everything you have to do. If I was ever in the hospital, having pentatonix sing to me woul ceryainly cheer me up!
@bloom1185 I agree!! My daughter has watched this about 10 times now and every time she can't take her eyes away from the screen. I don't think I'll ever get sick of watching this.
@@ranitagadling4312 thank you for asking. She was doing amazing. But after 6 years of being off chemo, she relapsed this February and is undergoing treatment again. She's still just as brave.

Being in a hospital used to be my life. I am chronically ill. Though I'm out now I do consider it a blessing to be done with that life. It is never fun. Most days you're stuck at least on your floor if not in your room. When you can get out of your room, it's usually for a group activity or visiting another part of the hospital with a nurse or family member. To have these guys visit must have brought lots of smiles to lots of faces! I'm sure it makes hospital stays much more enjoyable. :-)

Honestly the first time I heard pentatonix was on the Disney show k.c undercover and I was little when they were on the show and I thought they were really good and now I'm a huge fan of them
I wish I saw PTX perform when I was in hospital a few years ago, I can't imagine how much this made the kids in the hospital smile and how much it would've helped them

Personally I love that they did a separate show in the lobby, because the people that work and run hospitals like this are absolute angels! As if I didn't already love Pentatonix!!
People need to find out about Pentatonix, learn exactly how freaking awesome they are, and then they will fully understand the greatness they are in the presence of
Oh my.They are such babies compared to now. Look at how they are searching how to begin. The akwardness and inexperience. BUT It makes me proud too realise how much they've achieved, how professional they've become... They've come a very long way!
Its amazing how they sound better without mics and professional equipment. They know how to blend perfectly and don't need some guy on a sound board screwing them up like sing off. I so wish I could see them in person!
Their dancing kinda cracks me up, Superfruit has reacted to their older videos, from when they were on Americas Got Talent. They cringed and were embarrassed of their dancing. They said they don't dance. 😄 #2leftfeet

Pentatonix is literally the nicest group I've ever heard knowing that they came to a hospital for children and came to sing for them is beyond what most groups would do
