Popspring 2016. I know it's been requested. I would see it recommended alot in comments and didn't understand until I watched it. Your appreciation for PTX will grow by leaps and bounds. I know you're thinking, how is that possible? But it will. It will be a longer reaction but you will not regret it. Four live songs with MTV Japan sound engineers and a chance to see Pentatonix Perfection.

It's a crime this didn't get the airplay it deserved.

They have another version of this song (and video) with a rap section featuring Tink, and in the PopSpring live concert others have mentioned, Mitch does the Tink part.

"artsy" is the perfect word for the production values of the song and the song is so sweet besides.

An original song and funky fun video. This is one song that gets stuck in your head and will NOT go away!! There are actually a couple different versions of this song. This is the album version. The single version features a rap from guest artist Tink (I'm pretty sure I've seen a video of that version too). When they perform the song live, Mitch does the rap. This was from Kirstie's infamous "I chopped all my hair off and ended up looking like a French Poodle" phase (her words, NOT mine)!

Popspring 2016 is PTX live in concert in Tokyo, filmed by MTV Tokyo. The live version of this is fire and they do 2 other songs and MJ Medley. We would all love it if you would do this with us. It’s great

Oh Travis, I've been hoping you'd do this one! So glad you loved it! Avi's bass is just SICK!!! Hey, my fav color is purple too!! I mean, I'm almost obsessed with it, & have been since I was little! Well, I have the cutest story about this song! This past Feb. is when I had my full mouth dental implant surgery (that I told you about before) & they had to put me to sleep for 6 hours for it. When they 1st took me back to the operating room they asked me what kind of music did I want to listen to while they were getting prepared to operate. So of course I said anything by Pentatonix!!😏 At that time I found out that my surgeon & the anesthesiologist were both fans of Ptx! As they began putting the medicine in my IV that would make me go to sleep, the song that was playing was "Can't Sleep Love"!!! HaHa! I thought that was so ironic! As they sang "can't sleep", I DID sleep! HaHa!! It was the last thing I heard before I went under. We won't even talk about anything post-surgical, as that was all horrible. But at least I had a pleasant experience before-hand!! I really hope you get to go to one of their shows on the upcoming Christmas tour!!! I'll be at the Kentucky show!! It's several states away, but we are taking a train! That will be fun in itself!!! I love long train trips with a sleeper car & everything! I may even vlog the experience!!! There is an amazing interactive version of this video where you can click each member and see the whole song with just that member the whole way through and you hear and see things that they do that you never realized, even if you have heard it a hundred times and can recognize everyone’s voices by ear…..it’s amazing! Love your reactions! Have you done any of the at home ep videos? They are all great….also all their evolution of videos are great….even though I’ve seen all your reactions I can’t remember what you have done! I do highly recommend the superfruit frozen medley which I don’t think you have done…also their rhianna anti album medley and the empire medley are fantastic…..everything you haven’t done already I recommend lol….also definitely their newest drop from the new xmas album evergreen…I just called to say I love you….so good. Also Mitch has his own ep he just released recently and I didn’t see you react to any of them….the project is called Messer…which is him sonically and Austin curating the visuals and videography…..it is amazing representation for us folks like me out there that are gender nonconforming is the best way I can say it, or better yet perhaps just struggle with gender. I recommend them all….and lastly perhaps the most epic song I have heard by them or anyone else in a very long time is the song anchor off the new deluxe lucky ones album….ptx that is….I know you will be blown away…..this is a must even though there is no video, there is a visualizer and it’s the song that’s unbelievable, also petals right after from the same album……sorry I don’t write often so I stuffed them all in one…..I am sure you are beginning to see by now the problem…..how can you ask any of us to recommend one of our favorite ptx songs? They are all sooo good and there is ten years worth of them! I could go on forever….there are so many great originals from their earlier albums that don’t get enough play like this one….anyway, stay safe and keep them coming! 💜💜💜💜

I absolutely love this song and it's because of Mitch. That voice ❤️ and his adorable moves and OMG when he raps instead of Tink is 🤩. Please watch the popspring performance from MTV and you see him rapping and kills it!

I agree with the Popspring 2016 recommendation. This song is on it as well as another of my favorites which has no video of it's own called "Cracked"

This is *such* a Superfruit thing - it's in the same continuum with Hurry Up! I agree that you should do the Popspring version. Mitch does the rap (which the alternative version has rapper Tink do), and the audience (they're in Japan) goes nuts - he is great.

I love Mitch's vocals in this and agree with you reacting to Pop Spring. It's a little longer, but you'll love them live. It's a mini concert set they did at Pop Spring in Japan . Love your reactions. Also their upgrade of Meghan Trainor's "NO". Oldie, but goodie😎

It does have a strong Superfruit pull and I think it's because Scott (and Mitch) were exploring and experimenting with sounds which they took a step farther with Superfruit. Scott and Mitch definitely take lead here. There is a sing off performance (10- Let's get it on) where Mitch does the Wahn-wahn sound perfectly, so he probably wanted to play with it more A lot of people are already saying the Popsprings performance is a must and I know you don't like to react to the same song twice. Can't sleep Love has at least one more part cut from this, and it's almost a whole different song in concert. Also major bonus: Scott has the ultimate Mitch slap reaction.

When this song came out, they actually played it on the radio. But, it was always at dumb times like 10p-4m. So, no times anyone could listen en masse.

Love this song, love this video, love your reaction. While Kirstie always looks gorgeous, every time I watch this, I wish they had chosen something bolder for her to wear. I just think everyone else pops in their outfits while hers fades in comparison and she deserves to pop. This is the only video where I think her wardrobe lets her down. Usually her clothes are amazing. Love her hair though

Pentatonix is coming to Grand Rapids in December and I got tickets!! You should take a look and see if you can go too. Though, about that shirt, I just have to say, "Go Green!!" I 😍 this funky r & b. Now that you've seen this version, check out the extended version with rap added by Mitch. It's in the Popspring performance as mentioned by others. Also they perform Water, one of my favorites with Kirstie as lead. 😍😍😍 (She & Kevin were the main writers on that one if I recall correctly, so it was written especially with her voice in mind.)

this was the very first PTX song I ever heard and got me hooked - please react to "Bored" - no official video but it's my fave from The Lucky Ones album

I'll be honest, this isn't one of my favorites of theirs. It's just the style of the song, I guess, that doesn't zing me, because I have no problem with any of the members' performances. I do love Mitchy's part in the Popspring version, though.
