Took me longer than I meant to post this one - I've been getting set up in a new apartment the last couple weeks. All moved in now tho - more to come soon!
Like my father used to say, “ you give a man a job he eats for a week, you week a job a give man and nobody mans for weeks.” Or something like that he was a drunk.
Honestly I can't be the only person who prefers vods over edited videos. Like I listen to vods till I pass out and next time I listen to the vod I'd pick up from the last point I remember or just restart it. Lol case in point, you're my favorite gaming person with vods to sleep to.
Just a PSA for those that may not be keeping up with Rimworld. Most of the issues that Ambiquosamphibian is having trouble with or issues with are slowly being resolved in the beta updates. There are a number of changing coming that are even allowing people to setup their ideology to be adapted later on without using dev mode and fixes to some of the worst problems created by some of the initial settings. The general consensus I've seen is "bug tested very well, but not play tested very well" and the devs are doing what they can to shift and mold it more to what the player base wants from it.
that's pretty neat to hear. I assume you're referring to the ability for the ideology to shift, change, and be more dynamic? The chair thing was because pawns build in the style of their ideology. Same with clothing and statues lol
@@camo_kamikaze1598 Yeah and some of the other issues with how much "bad choices" in your ideology can cause considerable issues. My ideology is so simple that I don't get anything fancy, but with mods I'm certain it'll be ever more so
It's just as awkward as ever, maybe more because not all the mods fixing the craziness work any more. Game is fun in a way but aside from awkwardness it feels like more annoyances than challenges
I also wish you could disengage more from ideology. For example not have any of your starting colonists adhere to any ideology, and have people spawning with none out in the world. But I do think that having to consider a prospective colonist's ideology and assessing whether it fits into your colony and playstyle can add a little extra complexity to make choosing recruits a little more interesting.
The point of metamorphosis was that all he worried about was his everyday life being disrupted. It’s a theme Kafka repeats over and over, mundane worries in the face of extraordinary events. The best explanation for Kafka I ever heard was that god was too busy filing paperwork to see the wonders and horrors of what he had made.
Challenge idea: "Noah's Ark" 100% rainy planet. Need to get two or at least one of every animal species. Only one colonist. Or maybe two, three? I guess Noah had a wife and kids with him? But something like that.
you can see those text alerts that pop up in the left-hand corner in the messages tab, there's a button to toggle viewing them. Also, I died when the warg was juking out your traps and you screamed "serpentine, serpentine" and it was pretty awesome seeing the warg get put out of commission in one shot. edit: ALSO use the "Conversion" command / ritual that Neckbeardism's Spiritual Guide has to reduce other's certainty by a substantial percent edit #2: Pawns use their ideologies style when making things. The chairs, armor, and statues look different? Check your builder, crafter, and artists ideology and ideological style. I noticed I was building totemic and normal stools because I had two ideologies and they build things different stylistically

Seeng a colonist cleaning the deathpit is a huge pain. You want to keep it dirty but you didnt get it out from the home zone, so your people always try to clean it out. :D
Newish to the channel, catching up on everything I can. All I've been watching on YT for two weeks or so lol. I was wondering if you could put up a current mod collection and load order you use for PZ. Very helpful for those new to using mods and/or aren't great at adding them.
A.A. don't miss out on all the natural springs in FL. I moved here over 20 years ago but missed out cuz who knew? Truly the water of life pours freely here.
I built an infestation room as per your outline of them here, except I filled the room with heaters and had a special generator and power switch for it. They dug into a room that was 201 C except for one that spawned in the hallway. I had to sit through a generation of them to make sure a new group didn’t spawn while we murdered the downed ones.
For my cannibal playthrough I made a cuisine box with wooden barricades with molotovs as fuel a good 200 celsius, so why hunt food if it come to you huh? XD
Their comfort in their religious beliefs because they are content actually checks out with the ideas behind 1984. Why change when you're in great health? But if you are trying to hold on to your beliefs and you are broken down bit by bit until you don't even recognize you, then what do you have left to lose?
Huh. One of my first colonies I locked three guys in a room with research benches because I hadn’t figured out how to priority it right. Never even occurred to me that there could be a person per task limit at the time.
Well I don't like judging peoples financial decisions, but giving a streamer this amount of money. That's just dumb. It's a good way to make a streamer feel uncomfortable or indebted.
Becareful with the charity I've had a large group of 13 refugees betray me at the end of their time Only had that one set betray me though and I haven't had that many at once any other time
You may know this by now but it could screw your colony over as well, if you forget to set single cooking bills and everyone eats raw meat because they have
Pī luh, not pē luh. Avians reproduce with actual sex as in the egg is fertilized inside the bird. Please don't let the trolls in chat keep trolling you lol.
