Your right. When the internet came a lot of traditional jobs were replaced and in came a whole new job market and actually created a more jobs then it initially took away with higher pay.

AI is a different kind of beast. If it can do anything better than anyone and more efficiently, tell me then what you will do.

@@Naomi_Boyd robotics is already capable of that… dont let your mind lag behind. all this stuff, including atonomous robots will come to fruition in no time. its technically already possible with current tech to do an insane amount of stuff, its only a matter of time until its produced at scale, and made better and more efficient. the awakening of ai is already happening and as it awakens further, it will further accelerate the development of itself. this is not going to be a case of linear progression. its very serious, i wouldnt underestimate it.

What industrial revolution does, was pushing human beings from production jobs, to service sector job. What AI revolutioin does, is that it pushes human being from service sector jobs to jobless. Of coz you can argue about job like priest, surgeon albeit can be replace by robot, humang being still prefer human to do it... but hey, the amount of jobs left for human beings is definitely way little than before. The new situation will be, Millions of people lost their jobs to AI. Those industries now employ thousands. Your observation on last tech revolution do not hold this time in AI revolution.

So no manufactiring, no services, only blue collar. Tell that to the person who studied for years in those fields.

You don't really understand what AI is because if you did then you should have known that AI is a "human replacement" an another intelligent system and being an intelligent system there will be literally nothing which humans can do which that intelligent system will not be able to except to produce human babies, from driving trucks to construction to office work to make movies to groceries to farming, flying planes...you name it and AI will be able to do that and AI literally poses danger to entire human life on this planet(not in near future) but in distant future yes, it is very much possible

@@hubert3150 once AI goes full swing there will not be any job left for humans and the clash will be eminent and humans will be on the loosing end, sounds hollywoody but it is a reality
